Adorable place

If you're looking for a small, quaint area to gather with your girlfriends or have a meeting or shower, this is the place. The food is excellent - light and refreshing. Order the scones, you'll want a dozen to take home for yourself. The gift shop in the back is very "froo-froo". So if you like pearls, lace and posies, you're sure to find something (or many things!) that will satisfy the lady in you. My husband and I went to see what this place was like before I took one of my best friends from out of town. Our waitress placed a gentle hand on my husband's shoulder and told him he was a special man - she said her own husband wouldnt step foot in the place - way too feminine for him. But we so enjoyed the food and the happy atmosphere. The Ladies With Red Hats were gathering with their grandaughters that day. All the little girls were in ankle length dresses and lots of jewelry. So adorable to see how beautiful they felt. There was also a baby shower happening in the back room. Laughter and photo flashes galore. We had permanent smiles on our faces as we finished our lunch. Prices are resonable, food is very fresh, desserts are lovely and the selection of specialty teas is perfect. Not so overwhelming that you cant make a decision on which will complement or complete your meal. Our waitress was very knowledgable about the variety of teas, so dont be afraid to ask for a recommendation. Both times I've visited this tea garden were pleasant experiences. Please dont miss a comfortable and happy luncheon here as opposed to a crowded, noisy and rushed one. Relax and smile and be well fed. When was the last time you ate lunch out and felt that way?
