Cheapest in town they say.....until they pull onto your property and tell you something is wrong and threaten you with a lien on your property. The owner of this business must have tiny balls cause a real man would never do this to people. I ended up calling someone else who told me the truth, fixed the problem, charged me little and was very polite. Even though I ended up paying two companies....I atleast got honesty from the others they treated me like I was a real person. You're asking for trouble if you call these folks. Please do your research first. Read all the reviews.

I hire this company (Rooter Plus) on may 2012 to empty my septic tank, they charge me 580.00, their add said 195.00 for 1000 gallon tank and 295.00 for a 1500 tank, their plumer assume right away that my tank was 1500 tank and charge me 295.00 and the extra labor 200.00 plus tax and everything else they charge total 580.00. After 9 month now my septic tank started to back up, I went to the environmental office to get a copy of my septic tank and they gave me a copy of the size of the tank put in my house and it was 1000 gallon tank. I call Rooter Plus to let them know that they overcharge me and they said that they will come back to my house and empty the tank and will give me 100.00 credit. They cancel the day of my appointment and they told me that they will reschedule for the next day and at the last minute they cancel again I waited for 2 days for this company to come and nothing, I requested for my 100.00 refund to use it towards the next company I am going to hire, I hope to get the check, but not sure with this company. Please do yourself a favor and don't hire this company, they are taking advantage of people, I am going to put a complaint in the better business and hope they do something about them.

Do you have septic tank problems? call ROOTER PLUS /// they lie about every thing .Number 1 flush and clean the septic tank without water because they broke my water pipe and water was cut off the entire time they were here. Number 2 jetted line-wrong again no water. 1800.00 for what? a few hours later I had the same problem water came up in shower the same as before . They sent a plumber and snaked the drain and this fixed my problem. Number 3 they cut the cable, was without internet for days--no apolygy . I called and lady wasn't there that takes care of these problems call back Monday guess what they didn't jett the lines so she finally came down to 900.00 an the final breakdown was 350.00 for a dry flush on septic tank 600.00 for plumber. expensive plumber 600.00 an hour.--How do they get by with these lies??? Im sure there are honest people out there. so stay away from ROOTER PLUS.

Biggest Rip-off; cheater: Please stay away from this company.

To pump a septic tank, the bait price was $195.00.

When 2 techs came, I told them that the depth is 4'.

Jorge said, "then it is $350". He didn't write anything down on the paper, but only $195. The total $350 is okay, I told him. Later on I found that $350 was only for digging dirt, not including pumping. After digging, he opened the lid of my septic tank, and found some roots. He said to cut all the roots out, it is $375. I was shocked, but it had to be done. So I said, "go ahead".

In a little while, I went to see what is going on, he is asking me to sign the paper that shows the total of $2,670.00. WOW!!

He said that $375 charge was for the equipment only; not cutting the roots out of drain pipes. I could not believe the way he cheat me. After my complain, talk and reason, I ended up paying $819.25 without getting all the roots out. This is way too much to pay for 750 gallon of septic tank pumping. The way this company run business is that everyone should stay away. I hope, no more consumer like me to be cheated by this way.

BIGGEST RIPP-OFFS EVER!. AVOID this company or you will likely be taken advantage of. They promise free estimates and then threaten to charge you a $260.00 "diagnostic" fee if you tell them their estimate is far to high and that you will be getting other estimates prior to commiting. The estimate I was given was almost $600.00 to simply repair a leaking water pipe. Since the material costs for such a repair is less than $10.00 and the labor time less than an hour, I was being ripped off by amost $500.00. The technician became angry and told me that I was trying to take advantage of him by having him do a free diagnostic (this was supposed to be a "FREE" estimate). When he saw that I was determined not to pay such a fee he adjusted the price by by about 20% which was indeed still to high. I only agreed to have the work done by this unethical company because of the hassle of finding an honest repair person do do the job at a reasonable fee and because I couldn't use my water without fear of water damage until the leak was repaired. Since I had already waited several days without regular water, I was rather forced to make this rash decision. I can at least say that the repair seems to have been done correctly although, I most certainly was taken to the proverbial cleaners. I recall that the last time I had such a simple water leak repaired it cost less than $100.00. Of course that was about five years ago. I suppose plumbers don't intend to suffer as most of us have during poor economic times. Needless to say, I shall never use or recommend this company.

DISHONEST!!. I called to have my septic tank pumped. They did come very quickly, but within 5 minutes of being here, the tech (Richard) diagnosed a $2500 "problem"- and this is before he even located my septic tank!! I asked about some water that was collecting in the front yard (septic tank is in the back yard)- wanted to see if he had an idea where the water might be coming from. He immediately and confidently tells me it is sewage, not water- that my fill lines wrap all the way around my house and down the front yard down to the road and they are blocked and need a chemical treatment and possibly more. He tells me this will START at $2500 and could go as high as $8000!!! That's insane!! When I ask about obtaining a plot of my septic lines to verify there are fill lines running where he says they are, he dismisses the idea and says it wouldn't change anything, the work still needs to be done. When I tell him I am uncomfortable with this and not prepared to spend that kind of money today, he cops an attitude and tells me if I want to waste $200 to have my tank pumped, he'll do it, but he doesn't agree. I told him that was in fact all I wanted and he finished the job with a major chip on his shoulder.

Side note: my husband and I dug down where we thought the leak was coming from and found a 1" plastic pvc pipe coming from the house which was actively draining clear water- this turned out to be a drain from our upstairs air conditioner unit. Also, I obtained a plat of my septic system and fill line DO NOT run in my front yard. Unbelievable.

RIP-OFFS OF EPIC PROPORTIONS STAY AWAY!. I had this company come out and estimate a toilet leak. The price they gave me was over $900!!!. Then, they went on to come up with more than $3,000 in repairs ... basically a new water heater, etc. I was absolutely speechless.

I called the manufacturer of the unit and lo and behold -- it was under warranty. They shipped a new one out at NO charge. Furthermore, the unit is designed for homeowner installation and my friend put it in 15 minutes.

In the words of the manufacturer, not mine, "That price is OBSCENE." He further clarified that even new, the unit runs $115 retail. They wanted $900.

STAY AWAY.

What makes me even more irate, the billy bob they sent will talk your ear off about .... honesty. OMG.

$195 SEPTIC PUMP BAIT AND SWITCH. I have called this company twice and both times they have qouted $195 to pump a 1000 gal. tank. The first time they said they pumped more than 1000 even though the tank was a 1000 gallon tank. Charges amounted to double what they quoted. The second visit was the same approach with contrived reasons why the pump would be over $400 instead of the $195 they advertise. Don't look for a $195 pump from these guys!

Rooter Plus plumbers. Yesterday I was totally ripped off by Rooter plus. I wanted the most economical way to fix the tank of my toilet. I called Mitch as I thought it might be leaking. After $190 repair it was worse as it then started intermitent filling up..swishing on its own. He returned and replaced the tank to bowl kit with lever for a total of $423.35...OUTRAGEOUS as a new toilet fitted is from $250-$300. I feel outraged
