Please stay away from this company!. Please do not use this company. They are the biggest scam artist I have ever seen and they play on the homeowner's lack of knowledge. They will tell you that you need work done that is unecessary and costly! I called them for a $199 cleaning of my septic and ended up paying $1695 because when the tech started digging, sewage began to back in my basement...a problem I did not have before he arrived. In addition, he left without fixing the problem and stated that their plumber needed to come and finish the job. The plumber quoted me another $1750 to complete the job, which I refused to pay, and I ended up calling another plumber who fixed the problem for $300. Legal action needs to be taken against this company, and they need to be forced out of business.

RooterPlus/Inspector Drain Inc. simply suck. A couple of weeks ago 8/30/2011, our bathtubs and toilet started overflowing due to some blockage. Anyway, we called RooterPlus/Inspector Drain Inc. and were quite impressed at the punctuality of their plumber, Mitch. He went ahead and took the steps to clear the stoppage and at the end of the process he showed us via camera that it was indeed done. Consumers beware!!!. I wish I saw the reviews before I got ripped off!!! A bill tp pump for $195 later became $3,000+ after the tech dug, exposing the tank, all withing a few minutes!!! Unfortunately, I ended up writing a check for over $500, yet my problem was not solved. DON'T BE TRICKED, THIS COMPANY IS A RIP OFF!!!. He played on my vulnerability knowing that the flooding in my basement is my priority. THE WORST was that he told me that I need some chemical which only a few companies like his have to unclog the pipe for >$300.Wilson Septic Tank (770-318-6750) spoke to him, and reprimanded him for ripping me off. Mr wilson came, put a rod in and unclog it in a matter of seconds!!!!!. He covered up and only charged me for travel time. I'm so glad there are still a few good people around. PLS RUN FROM ROOTER PLUS!

SO UPSET AND DISGUSTED BUT NOT FOOLED!!. UNBELIEVABLE is all I can say...3 broken lines later, sprinkler system, french drain and cable wire a torn up lawn all for a simple pump out of a 5 year old septic system...In addition to being told that my drain fields were not operating correctly and I needed to spend $9,000 to have new ones installed. Again I repeat my home is 5 years old. I then told the tech I would have to get a second opinion where his attitude completely changed towards me I think he actually thought I would write a check for $9,000. He then said well if you do not want to go that way we can flush the drain fields out for a small cost of $1,700.00, I still informed him I would need a second opinion as he then tried to scare me by telling me I will be in the position of backing up in a short 3 weeks if I do nothing. 3 OTHER companies have now informed me I have no drain field problems at all. Not only did they try to scam me, the price jumped to $714.00 for one 1500 tank one 1000 tank and 250.00 to remove toilet paper from the top. They then proceeded to park in my driveway and left me a quart of oil all over my newly pressure washed driveway. So I have a torn up lawn, 3 broken lines, oil in driveway was lied too and have over $500.00 in repairs alone. THANK God I have not paid them a RED CENT. I did not let this company bully me and will go to small claims court if I have too. PUT THIS LOW LIFE UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY OUT OF BUSINESS....THE THREE COMPANIES I CALLED NEW EXACTLY WITHOUT ME SAYING WHO WAS OUT AT MY HOME!!! SCARY SCARY SCARY CALLING THE HEALTH DEPT. NOW AND BBB!

Talk About Bait and Switch. I called twice to ask about their low pump out price. I was told that they can offer such a low price because they take their tanks to an area that charges one low fee. They came to my house and immediately began up charging...charging for things I was never told about on the phone, even though I mentioned my situation. My husband sent them packing......Shame on you....Consumers Beware....

Rip Off!! Beware!! Go Elsewhere!!. Avoid this company. They will up-sell you with products and services that you do not need. I received a low-ball quote to pump my septic tank. When they were finished they gave me a bill for over $3,000. I have spoken with the Forsyth Health Department and they have had many complaints with RooterPLUS. There are other companies in this line of work that are trustworthy and honest. This company has no ethics or morals. Their owner refused to speak with me. Save yourself $1,000’s and do not use this organization. Put this company out of business.

Well, I'll give them the first two .... but as far as the second. .... NO!!!

Last week my husband was taking a shower and realized the tub wasn't draining quickly. We hoped it would last till pay day ..... it didn't. ...... Since we have only owned the house for a year (30 yr. old home) we had been worried about the health of the septic system.

We had no choice but to call around for the cheapest price ... Rooter Plus quoted us $195 to pump out our tank (imagine how releived we were)...... only when they got there, they said they had to charge us an extra $100 to dig to get to it??? It's a septic tank, they are in the ground right? It took him all of 10 minutes to dig it up with his equipment. Ironically, since we told him that we only had about $300 till pay day, he up-charged us to that amont. FISHY FISHY ....

Then when he was finished the toilet still wouldn't flush .... he said there were roots in the line and if we wanted him to clear it out it would be an extra $460!!!! Money he knew we didn't have.

My husband told him not to fill in the hole but put the cover stone back on, that way, when we called another company, they wouldn't try to charge us another $100 to dig it up. Problem is, we didn't notice until he was gone that the coverstone wasn't on there properly and we could see into the tank.

I called the dispatcher and told him that since it was going to be a few days until we could afford to get someone else out they needed to come back and seat that stone. He told me "no, your husband told the tech to leave it that way, and that he was going to crawl in there and fix it himself", I told him that he was mistaken, the tech was told to leave the hole but cover the tank and he couldn't crawl in the hole since it was a 2 in gap, and he couldn't move an 800lb. stone by himself! They refused to come back out and that's when I started to lose it. ..... I told him how shameful they were for all of the extra charges they claim not to charge, to basically steal my money. After he called me a liar, I ...well.... lost my temper.

After I cooled off, I called the HQ to speak to who was in charge and tell her what happened. She was very nice, but in the end, did nothing.

I called out another company the next day to help us. (Now, charging on the credit card). ..... Over the phone, he said $190 to snake the drain, and gauranteed, no extra charges. He came out, had it fixed in 25 minutes and he was even nice enough, to get his equipment off his truck (FOR FREE) to put the cover stone back on. He said, of course he doesn't charge to dig down to a tank ... and boy did we get ripped!! If we had went with the other company first, it would have been $340 total, when they encountered a problem they would have fixed it free of charge. We ended up spending $150 more than we needed to. Again, money we really didn't have to spend. We lost days worth of pay because of this dishonest, greedy, and LAZY company.

The dispatcher I was talking to the previous day on the phone (when I lost my temper) had during the conversation stated that he knew he didn't have the lowest prices in the industry (Well when I called to schedule and told them my budget, he should have warned me). And I told him that I read the reviews here and had wished I had done so to start with. He said well, only people who are unhappy write reviews, not happy people. Well, you just earned yourself another bad review buddy. And yes, everything I screamed at you in the heat of passion, was TRUE!!!!!

THE OTHER COMPANY WAS SKYLINE .... Don't be fooled by Rooter Plus' bait and switch low pricing. They are CROOKS!!!!!

Rip off company, is right. I was ripped off too. I had them come out when I was new to town in 2007. They charged me $8,000, since my basement restroom was not flushing. I also spent another $600 to re-sod the lawn after they dug it up. Now, two weeks ago, the same toilet is not flushing. I called them out this week and they quoted me another $4,000 for a new motor. I said, "didn't you put a new motor in last time?' They said yes, but they o out every couple of years and you haver to have them replaced. This would have been over $12,000 in four years. I told them to go home. I called Amos Septic company. He fixed it for $250. Don't use this company.

$195 ON THE PHONE & $1200 IN PERSON. These guys are FAMOUS in the industry. The most dishonest company I've ever run into. Stay right next to them or they'll create a problem you never had. This is from our own experience and our poor neighbor's. I can't believe they haven't been shut down and I certainly don't know how they can sleep at night..

Run, don't walk, away from this company. To say that my experience with this company was terrible would be an understatement. During a drain reline, they failed to inform anyone at my daughters house that we should not use the plumbing. As a result, water ruined a new floor that I installed less than two weeks earlier. To make matters worse, the crew at RooterPlus lied and told the insurance company that they had informed us. As a result, the insurance company refused to pay to have the floor replaced. Also, the manager of the company assured me that they would take care of any damage. He out and out lied, and he runs the company. Any other company would be better than this den of thieves.
