Best Thai and Chinese in ATL metro. We used to own a restaurant and are world class eaters. This is far and above the best Thai and Chinese cuisine around! I don't know what other reviewers are using for their basis of comment, but I can tell you that I have tasted a lot of FINE Thai and Chinese food. This is NOT formula food and if that is what you are looking for, you will not get it. If you are looking for FINE dining of authentic dish and variety - this is it! There is a huge difference between a 'Chinese restaurant' and Fine Asian Cuisine. This is the latter - we eat there once a week if we can.

good appearance, but just ok. The restaurant has a great view of the kitchen. As you wait for your food you can look into the kitchen through its glass window. The food here is average. I thought it was very American-like. The presentation of the food was lovely though. not much to say about it. the restaurant is nothing close to authentic thai or chinese food.

Best Chinese food. I love this restaurant. Chinese is my favorite food and this place serves the best I've ever eaten. Every dish I've ordered has been delicious.

I think the food just OK. I think is just ok, I prefer Thai Chili and would eat at thai chili every I get a chance. I just work right around the corner with Thai Chili.

Great Surprise!. Tried this based on the rating and were more than pleasantly surprised. From the appetizer (Nam Tuk beef salad) to the soup to the Thai (Pad Prik with pork) & Chinese (Szechuan shrimp) entrees, everything was great. We were happy to see lunch specials even offered on Sunday rather than the usual Monday-Friday. We only wished there were a few more Thai offerings as we love Thai duck dishes. Highly recommended!

Best Asian in Gwinnett. Hidden away in a strip mall, the uninspired exterior gives way to a charming little restaurant. Be sure to glance at the day's specials as you enter. The menu consists of some standard Chinese and Thai items, be sure to ask about specials as well, but this is by no means a "standard" restaurant. The freshness of the ingredients is incredible. If you like it spicy, say so and they'll fix you up. I've been there about 8-10 times with a number of different people, and they ALL want to come back, and do. In an area (124/Snellville) pretty much devoid of good, quality food of any kind, it is humbly suggested you give Lavender Asian Bistro a try.
