In Short – At the ice cream junkie's heaven, all flavors are made fresh and on site. Top vision-inducers include chocolate peanut butter, honey fig (in season), plus signature brown sugar vanilla and chocatella dream. Malts made from these flavors are not for the timid. The frozen stuff's the main attraction, but Jake's also offers coffee and sandwiches, including a vegetarian sandwich with roasted peppers, goat cheese and portobello mushrooms.

This is one of my all time favorite ice cream joints. I love the key-lime piescream and the red velvet cake ice cream...they keep me going back. The service is good, but I would not suggest going around closing time because they close before the posted time. The ice cream is not as creamy as Coldstone, but Jake's has better flavors. I would definitely recommend.

I worked for Jake's and moved back to Miami Florida. I still say the best chocolate ice cream I ever ate was at Jake's. The chocolate Sl__ yo mama will remain my absolute favorite forever. Maybe I can get Jake to ship me some!!! I miss you all!!!

Best Ice Cream I ever had!!!

I moved from Kennesaw to St. Michael, MN in 2002. I missed the Jake's Brown Sugar Vanilla ice cream so much that my husband had some shipped to me for my birthday. There are homemade ice cream parlors in the Twin Cities, but none can compare to Jake's. Sl-- Yo'Mamma Chocolate and Key Lime Pie also made the trip. Keep on crankin' it out.
