“We lounged in front of the plasma tv while drinking mixed drinks and nibbling on different hors d'oeuvre's and fruit and then the dessert spread was awesome.”

“There were several lounges within walking distance (Milan in the Crowne Plaza was great for appetizers, drinks and a live jazz band), Dante's is right across the street and Lenox Mall was a 3 minute walk across the street with several spots over there.”
Simply The Best. Ive stayed at this hotel several times over the course of the last year while on business trips. Each stay gets better and better. I wouldnt stay anywhere else!!!
Only with a discount. The accomodations aren't exactly luxurious. Perhaps a step up from the Marriott, but pretty standard all the same. Acceptable for a business trip, but not a romantic weekend or a special occasion. I'd stay here again, but only if I could find another discounted rate (I found one for $99 at Expedia) It's not worth a whole lot more.
Give it back to the Swiss. This hotel came highly recommended and I was SO disappointed! I'd planned a romantic weekend and mentioned this at the time I made reservations. (At these prices, hotels should remember this and have a complimentary bottle of wine or some amenity to commemorate the occassion. Ice would have been nice!) The rooms were said to be large, the bathtubs big, beds luxurious, windows floor to ceiling and the atmosphere romantic. None of this was true. The towels cheap and few, and only ONE robe. Romantic, yes? We checked in after riding Marta from the airport, and so were maybe assumed to be less desirable? We carried our own bags up because no one offeredand I refuse to ask for the obvious. Employee attitudes were terrible. (No this was not a busy weekend) I will NEVER stay at the Swissotel again. Can't business also be romantic? What happened to Southern Hospitality?
Great deal. This is an outstanding hotel that you can find great specials if you look at expedia, travelocity, etc. When you find a special rate, it makes the hotel perfect.
Good for business or pleasure. Great prices on Expedia attracted me to this hotel, as well as the perfect location for shopping. I found the service and amenities to be excellent, particularly the terrific gym. The room size and comfortable beds were a plus. I would be happy to stay here any time for business or pleasure in Atlanta.
top rated otel,.
This hotel looks like barney blew chunks all over the lobby, Cow hides, purple pillows and a staff that has an attitude. Booked this from a website and after all the parking charges I paid more for the other things than I did for the room rate. The staff was more than not helpful. swissotel or noserviceotel.
Oh Yeah, the garbage truck wakes you up in the morning. nice touch
Worth every Penny. This htoel is a great value, booked a $63.00 rate through Hotwire and booked a $75.00 rate throughquickbook. this hotel is worth $63.00
Sad service for a once nice hotel. Recently stayed on business. The service is bad because no one will look at you. Front desk never says welcome, Hard to find a bellman and the concierge is never there.
Family-friendly bargain, if careful.
My husband, 10 month-old daughter and I stayed at the Swissotel recently. We purchased our room through Hotwire at a very, very good rate. Unfortunately, after room service, valet parking and in-room movies, the bill was double -- live and learn.
The staff was very friendly and professional. The room was immaculate, and I am really picky. What impressed me most was the crib they provided -- a lovely brushed steel number with nice linens (including a bumper). Let me tell you, the cribs most hotels (except Westin) provide are pieces of junk. I recently stayed at an Omni where they charge upwards of 180 per night -- the crib linens had holes in them!
One minor criticism -- the pool area is in need of some work -- clean, but run-down looking. We had fun there, just the same. I'd stay there again, especially at the Hotwire rate.
