Great food, poor service. I have been to Green Lotus a number of times and I order out all the time. The food is delicious and always more than I can eat at one sitting. The brazed chicken is delicious but I've tried almost everything on the menu and I have never had a bad experience. The delivery guy is great and is always on time or early. The service staff in the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. I noticed several people who came to eat in or carry out had to wait upward of 5 minutes while the counter person was in the kitchen talking or texting on her phone. I had to ask several times for different things and she wasn't a bit attentive to my or my friends' needs. I have gone back since and other people are really great. If the food wasn't delicious I don't know if I would have given them a second thought because I don't tolerate bad service. I rated this place a 5 out of 5 stars for the food only and not based on service.

Best Chinese across three states. Traveling from NC to GA for almost a year I've eaten at many Asian restaurants, on recommendations of locals, and there's not one that I've been to twice ... until now. Last week I was in a retail shop and overheard a conversation at the cashier station. The shopper had just come from Green Lotus or was on her way. Her description of just the Fried Rice (of which I'm not a fan) made me curious enough to visit. Am I glad I did. I've eaten there three times since last week, with my fiancee who is a local but had never eaten here. The Won Ton Soup is divine. Won Ton's are light and tender; Chinese Noodles are broad, crispy and addictive. The only appetizer I've had are the Pot Stickers, excellent. Entrees: Phoenix and Dragon, Teriyaki Chicken, Sesame Chicken and Mongolian Beef ... all with Fried Rice. The food is so flavorful and fresh I would be hard pressed to believe anything was mass produced ahead of time. If you have to wait for your soup to be prepared, it's worth it!

Thankful for Green Lotus!. I have to wonder if the nasty review was written by a competitor. We've been going to Green Lotus since they opened. We've ordered every item on their menu in those years. We've had them deliver food as well as eat in and never had poor quality food. The ingredients are always fresh and the food is well-prepared and delicious. The service is prompt and the wait staff is efficient and friendly. If you are fortunate enough to live within their delivery area, you will be in for another treat. They deliver before the promised time and the food is as fresh as if it just came out of the kitchen. We're very happy Green Lotus is in our neighborhood.

Best Chinese Restaurant/Delivery in Austell/Smyrna. I have to disagree with any negative reviews on this little restaurant hidden on the E/W Conn in Austell/Smyrna. I have NEVER had anything that wasn't excellent. I am personally a chicken/seafood gal but their Mongolian Beef is too die for. Even my husband who does not care for Chinese food, we have more of a flair for Sushi, he absolutely loves the Mongolian Beef as well. We have gotten nothing but great service/fast delivery, always. They know me by name and whenever I call it's almost as if they already know what we are ordering and it's on it's way. OH, don't let me forget to mention the Crab Ragoon (excuse any misspelled words) In fact, we're awaiting the arrival of our order as I am writing this to you. I'm sure the food will be here pretty soon, so it's time to kick off the shoes, pour something to drink and get ready to feast. As we always order a little bit of everything. Oops! I've got to feed my Pomeranian before the food gets here. got to go, Say bye for now!

terrible food quality with things in it. i ordered for my children and the food had dead crawly things in the sauce that was mixed with teh chicken, was the worst ever, i called them after they had delivered the food and they were rude and no manager was a vailable, i asked them to call me and they said no i would have to call them when the manger gets in, GREEN LOTUS in austell stay away from it

Authentic Chinese Quisine. Authentic Chinese Quisine, prompt delivery, always uses fresh ingredients, has the good spicy mustard i love, and the crispy fried eggrolls (spring rolls too if you like that), can substitute for fried rice, "We can alter the spice according to your taste"

According to the new menu we got tonight, they even have a Sunday Brunch Special - 5.65/person 11:30a-3pm.

Located behind on the back row of the shops in the shopping center, behind the coffeshop.

My favorite 'local' chinese restaurant!

Hiddden jewel in Austell/Smyrna/Mableton area. The food at Green Lotus is freshly prepared without all of the gook and grease. This is a healthy alternative to fast food and the prices are great. The restuarant is very clean and the poeple are friendly and accomodating. They also deliver and they stay open late; 10pm on Sun-Thurs. and 11pm on Fri. and Sat. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Little known but Excellent Chinese. We have made this our 'home' Chinese Restuarant. It is close to home, they deliver, but the staff are quick to sit you even when they are busy. The service is Excellent. The food is out-of-this-world. They will modify the order to your requests.... as in Extra Spicy, etc. They are very friendly and you just want to go back again & again. We would rather go to their little "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant rather than have it delivered.
