“The atmosphere is different from most Indian places and they even have great music on select nights.”
“The desserts are great; but I wish they would go a little lighter on cardamom.”
“The drinks are great too!”
“The tapas and chaats are aboslutely fantastic and the parathas (layered flat bread) are the best you will find anywhere in town.”
“Pretty good service considering the place was full.”
“Food was cold when served and the service is just OK.”
“Wow, you just cannot beat the mouth watering, affordable tasty Indian food at Bhojanic - me and my friends love the restaurant and I highly recommend buying gift certificates for friends and family as Xmas gifts - they will thank you for it!”
Definitely try the Pani Puri and the Naan; they also have great cocktails and have opened a location in Buckhead!
Just like the previous reviewer said "inflated reviews". This restaurant is so bad that food is not even fresh tasted like days old. The curry spice they use tasted blank. Food was cold when served and the service is just OK. I do not think that indian restaurant in atlanta in general are very low food quality.
Our favorite Restaurant. My wife & I have visited Bhojanic every week, since we discovered it in early Summer. Both of us have eclectic taste, and we enjoy eating out. Besides the food, which I think is the best Indian food in Atlanta, I like the service, that it is clean, the environment is comfortable (they had live jazz music last Friday, unsure of the day) and incredible value. By value I mean great quality food, good proportion at a great price. I really like restaurants that provide good value, and there aren't many that do. Either the food is mediocre or the price is too high.
Be careful reviews are false.
The ratings appear articially inflated. It is impossible that all indian restaurants have a rating of 4 or 4.5 on 5 and when you visit them, you have the most disastrous experience. The ratings are inflated by restaurant owner and their family who post extremely positive reviews. The result is that all Indian restaurants in atlanta end up having a rating of 4 or 5.
Pl use discretion and word of mouth to visit any Indian restaurant because the ratings are false.
I hope you have a wonderful experience experimenting with indian food.
Does not represent the true essence of Indian food. This place does not represent the true essence of Indian food. Yes, I know the name of the restaurant has "Fusion" in it, but I really didn't see anything on the menu that had a fusion twist to it. The menu basically offers mostly Indian food with an occasional American item such as cheesecake. The naan (bread) was very dry and looked like it was store bought. The desserts were TERRIBLE! We ordered the strawberry cake which was extremely dry and the tiramisu, which did not represent tiramisu at all. Overall the food is decent with a few awful items, but way over priced for the amount that you get. There are plenty of other Indian restaurants in Atlanta that offer better tasting food and at a much better price. The owner also seems like a bit of a flake. I took one of her cooking classes and she really does NOT know what she is doing. She also showed up 20 minutes late to teach the class, and kept talking about her restaurant the entire time! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I get the feeling this place has some backwards and very greedy owners.
Unbelievable Food, Great Bar, Great Service, Great Entertainment, Great Place to Hang out!!.
I started coming to Bhojanic several months ago. It was only my 2nd or 3rd time trying Indian food. I am now in love with Indian food and especially to Bhojanic's take on Indian food and tapas. It's a far far cry from traditional Indian restaurants with lunch buffets trying to pass themselves off as a fine dining restaurant. The atmosphere is fun and hip and you can find live blues and jazz several nights of the week. The owners and management make sure you feel welcome and your experience wasn't anything less then amazing.
(And to answer to the slanderous and libelous remarks made below: The all you can eat tapas is PER PERSON just like a buffet is PER PERSON. I can tell you from first hand accounts and my own conversations with the owners, staff and management at no time did any of those things occur. I happened to be at the restaurent during TWO of those nights. So to anyone who is turned off by those comments, please ignore them. They are obviously written by people who are either in competition with Bhojanic or just jealous of their success. Hopefully someone will educate them about defamation, slander and libel.)
Awesome Everything!. This place is wonderful.. There is soo much to say about it. The food is amazing! i recommend doing tapas, because you get to try different dishes and experience different flavors. I go here about twice a month and always try to bring a friend to try it out. The service is wonderful! It seems like all of the employees really enjoy working there, making the experience even that much better. Also, I love how the place actually has an atmoshpere! Try going on a night with music, you will just love it. Oh, and the Guava Martini is my favorite!
decent food, fun place. It was not intimidating to order, and the waitress was very nice to answer all questions. Food was served warm and tasted good. We had a group of 8 and we had a nice corner table to ourselves. They had a band playing which was nice.
Expensive and Overrated.
Decided to check this place out on a recommendation of a friend who had been at this place a year back..
Bad Choice. Food was served cold after a real long wait. Meat seemed to be cooked in a rush. Had a very peculiar taste.
They half-heartedly apologized and did not even try to comp off the specific item!
Please order bottled water since the water was not clean or maybe the problem was with the dirty glasses.
Restroom was dirtier than a gas station restroom!
Avoid this place!
Horrible Place for a Date..
Been a regular to this place since past few years and the place has deteriorated since last one year, especially after they remodeled the place and came up with racial rules!
Patrons beware that the good reviews made sense a year back and now its a place simple without a soul. What a pity!!
Reasons: The Owner introduced some weird rule that if you order tapas(unlimited sampler - meat and vegetables, bread cooked Indian style, with various sauces) your companion on the same table needs to order tapas!! That is such a cruel joke. Not sure whether this rule is targetted to only particular community or skin color, but please feel free to experience it, if you really like getting humiliated.
Had been a loyal patron for almost 3 years, and this is how I was treated when I go there with a date!
Needless to say my date was highly embarrassed and my friends and I have decided to stop visiting this restaurant.
Beware of the OverHype.
I happened to be there on a regular Tuesday night ( when the crowds are usually manageable). The service was really pathetic..Most of the tables were empty and I had to wait for around 5 minutes to get seated! After getting a table my order took almost 20 minutes to come up and it was regular Indian Thali ( an assorted Indian vegetables and meat dish which usually takes 5-10 minutes max in any other restaurant i have been, since it has been already prepared and just has to be served)
When I asked them casually about the delay they told me that I could leave , if required!! Either the server had a very rough day or this place is in the pits!!
When I asked for the manager , the server said that the manager would care any less!!
Not worth the humiliation..what if I had my date with me?? It was a total disaster.
I will stay a mile away from this place.
