Great Places Now

Wow, just had dinner and drinks at YellowFin Chophouse, their new restaurant in Alpharetta. Great food, drinks and environment. The place is a home run!

I have eaten at the Historic Roswell location before and the food and environment are reallly unique and awsome there.

Not sure what the other reviewers are talking about. The Fin's are great!

Not too bad, not too good

I had a coupon for this place (came in one of those junk mail stashes) and thought to give it a try. Menu is slim for vegetarians or non-seafood eaters. (I thought to take my sea-food loving fiancee at the time, but did not have much to choose for myself). Service was mediocre, food is very expensive, however the location is nice and paito and restaurant is nicely designed. Drinks were good too.

But should not have came to use the coupon; it was for 20% of the entire check. Sure, we got 20% off, but then the server charged me 18% gratuity aftwards. It was only 2 of us, not 6, as their menu states they will charge that for a minimum of 6 people. Wow! I saved a buck! Did not even bother to tip the guy more...

We wont go back.

Thumbs Down - Too Pricey for ITP

I try to give all restaurants the benefit of the doubt (this is the 1st bad review I've written), but I had a lousy meal at Yellowfin for a hefty price. I can only imagine that the ppl who have given Yellowfin good reviews are those that don't often eat in Atlanta, where you can get a much better meal for the same price. The patio dining was nice and my salad was good, but other than that the meal was nothing special. I would check out their website first to see if you'd be willing to pay these prices for a Roswell restaurant when you can get better atmosphere and more inventive cuisine downtown.

Great Food!

I have eaten here a number of times, and I have to say that the food is awesome! It is a great combination of different sauces that you will not find anywhere else in the area! i bar staff is attentive and helpful!
