In Short – The name "Bloomingdales" tends to evoke the grandest visions of luxury, but in reality, the selection of merchandise is fairly balanced. For each trendy or high-end fashion designer represented--including Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein and Kate Spade--there are just as many private and lesser-known labels for more budget-conscious shoppers. The store also offers an array of purses, jewelry, accessories, cosmetics, shoes, luggage, housewares and gifts. Wedding registry available.
Would be upscale, but women's shoe Manager has much too learn!

I searched for a pair of Via Spiga boots and found the last pair in my size at the Bloomie's in Dunwoody. Went to purchase these $300 things and while in the middle of the transaction, notices a nick on the top toe of the boot. The tip of sole was slightly peeling away from the toe. I brought it to the sales girl's attention and she went in the back to address this with her Manager who had the audacity to touch it up with black shoe polish and send them back out to the register AS IF! I asked to speak to Manager, Jody LaJoie, who gave this outrageously perky presentation on why she literally patched up a damaged boot in my face and still attempt to close a sale at full price! I've always had good experiences with Bloomingdale's on a whole, however, this latest ordeal has left a bad taste in my mouth for their shoe dept.
- Pros: Options, Variety, Contemporary
- Cons: Shoe Dept. Doesn't Deliver on a High Level
