“The service is definitly quick and the servers are great but the food just seems so bland and unimpresive.”
“from campus (Tech), has great pasta at a very reasonable price, and it's never really that crowded.”
“Service and decor are passable, but you come here to chow down on good, cheap pasta and get out in 40 minutes.”
The local originator of the pasta and sauce pairing. This location is a lil special and my favorite of all. Ya gotta try the tortellini.
Best pasta in town. Best pasta in town. Long lines move fast. If you can't find something you like, you won't find it anywhere. Good place for a cheap date. Salads are just enough, not too big, not to small.
Dissapointed by unimpressive food and bad wine. The service is definitly quick and the servers are great but the food just seems so bland and unimpresive. I had a glass of wine that was so bad I couldnt even finish half the glass.
Quick and Delicious. If you are looking for good food fast and inexpensive then this is the right place for you. I can't get enough of the ceaser salads and the gnocchi with mushroom sauce!
Quick and Delicious!. Figo is a great place for lunch or dinner on the run. The meals are cheap (under 10 dollars), service is good, and the atmosphere is fantastic! Try the funghi sauce... it's amazing!
Inexpensive, but bland.... I love a good spaghetti and meatballs meal, a good lasagna, a great ravioli........ When I went to Osteria de Figo, I was expecting a great value meal..just like the ones I have had in Italy when I visited. Instead, the food was bland and unimpressive. I don't know what everyone raves about....there are a lot better places for Italian food....hey..I even like the Olive Garden better than this place....
Authentic Italian. I loved this place! I visited Italy last summer and Figo was so authentic and reasoably priced. The gentleman who took our order was extremely helpful and my meal as well as my dessert was amazing!
Great Italian Food. Figo is a great authentic italian place. Its also very romantic and not very expensive ($7-$12 a plate) I went on my first real date with my current boyfriend there. It is still a special place for us. I also take out of town friends there and they love it. They request on next visits. I love the four cheese ravioli with pomodora sauce.
Inexpensive and Authentic Italian Good Eats!.
I visited the restaurant on May 3. I went to this restaurant because of CitySearch (Thanks!) and I am glad I have eaten there. We had an appertizer, 2 entre pasta, a glass of wine, and a plate of the tiramisu and it only cost us a little over $30. What a steal! Their homemade pasta is to die for, I wish I had the chance to try their Specials though.
It was a little awkward to wait in line outside of the restaurant to order your food before you get seated. But once we seated down, the service was not disappointing at all. They brought the food to us right away and they were very attentive and polite. In a way, we felt like this is an even better and efficient way to dine!
Good food & Good prices. And good service and good ambiance. I recommend it. Good for having lunch during the week.
A little bit of Tuscany in Atlanta.
Osteria del Figo is a sparkling gem of Tuscan dining nestled behind a coffee house on Howell Mill Rd. My date and I started out with the Caprese salad, which was excellent even though ripe plum tomatoes aren't exactly abundant in late December. The fresh mozzarella was wonderful and not overly salty.
Deciding on a main course selection was difficult considering the many variations of pastas and sauces on the menu, futher complicated by daily specials like lobster in a pink vodka sauce with pasta or beef-filled ravioli in a sage and butter sauce.
I settled on spinach and ricotta-filled ravioli with an Arrabiata sauce. The ravioli were cooked perfectly al dente and the Arrabiata sauce was zesty with tomato and spicy with red pepper without being overdone...if I closed my eyes, I could easily flash back to a wonderful trattoria in Siena or Montepulciano! This place is THAT good!
