The most unethical healthcare providers out there!!! Be aware as a routine check up will cost you some serious $$$$!!!

During my ear infection visit hey performed on me several unnecessary procedures/exams/check ups without asking for my consent and then billed me for it $422.30 after the insurance adjustments (just the new patient set up fee is $195 and to cancel an appt in less than 24h prior to it will cost you $70!!!!!

i had the misfortune of getting treated by dr. carothers in newnan. his brusque attitude was immediately apparent. the sneaky little diagnostic procedure that he did on me without my consent and which is deemed a "surgical procedure" and was not covered as part of my routine office visit for a routine sinus infection was not immediately apparent. the billing office could not have been ruder or more difficult. agree with the previous comment that their billing office is obtuse. if you are in newnan, beware of these people.

I visited Dr. Heindel in Newnan and he was a great Dr. and knew his stuff. BUT the ENT Institute of Georgia billing department and staff are the most obtuse people I have ever dealt with and they slap you with charges. I walked in for a simple consultation - told them I had horrible insurance and did not want to get a consult if it was going to cost over $150. They said that would not be a problem. My Bill for 10 minutes with Dr. Heindel? Over $550. The new patient set up fee alone was over $150 and they did not even disclose that information - even when I told them my budgetary restraints! If you want to get pay over $50+ a minute - go see the ENT Institute of Georgia. I would not recommend them whatsoever - it is borderline insurance fraud and you should not support their actions.

No complaints here. I don't know what that first review is all about, I have nothing but nice things to say about the staff here. The nurses were so nice and friendly, and my doctor was really fantastic. It seemed like a busy day in the office but I didn't have to wait long at all and the doctor made sure to answer all my questions very thoroughly.

Great experience!. I had sinus surgery less than two months ago and am very pleased with the results. The doctor was always happy and cheery, and he did what he needed to do to get me better. The staff was always very kind and treated me quickly and well. I would recommend the ENT Institute to my friends and family.

Not a Pleasant Experience.. Very disappointing.

My 6-year-old son had an appointment and I asked before his appointment if I could bring my one-year-old son. I was told it was o.k. When we arrived, we waited about an hour to be called to a room. I said I needed to walk up and down the hallway with my one-year-old because he was getting restless. Again, I was told it was o.k.

After pacing the hallway for another hour and having a nurse repeatedly ask me to return to the room, I asked why they said it was o.k. earlier and then quickly changed their minds. I could have waited in the waiting area with the one-year-old. Then a physician's assistant approached me and informed me that I wasn't the only patient and that I had to wait my turn in a room. So I told them that I wasn't interested in seeing the doctor anymore and got ready to leave with my 2 boys.

When leaving, I asked for a note to return my older son to school and they said no. I told them if they wouldn't give me a note, then I was going to stop payment on my co pay and call my insurance company and ask them to do the same. They quickly gave me a note.

This is the first and only time I actually had to walk out of a doctor's office. I spoke to other mother's in my area and they told me, after the fact, that the ENT Institute's bedside manners were very poor.

I don't know how the doctors are because I never actually met any. I hope the nursing staff will be kinder and more accommodating to the pediatric patients in the future.
