Excellent Chicken Entrees!. I love Thai food and have dined at many of the familiar places around Metro Atlanta. Thai Palate is by far my absolute favorite. Their Mango Chicken with fresh basil and Coconut Chicken dishes are ones that ignite cravings for their unique blend of flavors. Their Roti pancake with curry sauce appetizer is also a real treat as is their flaming banana dessert. Those in my dining parties have always agreed that the food is exceptional and we all look forward to sharing a meal there again. Great place for dinner before the theater.

Insects. My fiance and I went to this restaurant looking for a great atmosphere and Thai food. We were greatly disappointed. It started with our drinks taking at least 10 minutes to get to our table, then, 15 more minutes for our appetizer, then, 20 more minutes for my entree to come out by itself. We had to wait longer for my fiancees entree, making my food get cold.

While we were waiting for his entree, we saw a large insect (that for some reason citysearch won't let me write the type of insect... but its the gross one that scurrys around) run across the stone wall we were sitting next to. We were grossed out but wanted to give them a chance to redeem themselves since the manager had apologized that there was only one cook that night. We told our waiter about the insect and he came up with a bunch of excuses like "oh, well it's the season for them" and walked away. Well, that was the last straw. We offered to pay for our appetizer and left. I hope no one ever has to have an experience like this :(

Not so tasty. -- This was my first visit. Food was not up to par for good Thai. Red curry chicken was bland and not spicy (as ordered). The Prik Khin chicken ordered by my guest was slightly better. Coconut chicken soup had a slight sour smell and tasted less than fresh. Portion size was more than adequate. Fortunately, I did not pay full price (since I had a $25 gift certificate purchased for $2 - which required a minimum food purchase of $35). I'd rather pay full price at Surin in Va. Highlands or Bangkok Thyme on Roswell.

Disgusting food all around. Although we ordered our food online and had good results (the ordering was easy, and the delivery came more quickly than expected), that is where the positive experience ended. My friend and I both had the Tom Yum soup, and it was horrible. We forced ourselves to get past the smell and were rewarded with a thin sour-tasting broth that left a bad taste in our mouths. Though it was spicy, this was just a strong aftertaste after a rather unappealing flavor combination. The Pad Thai wasn't much better. Gluey noodles were topped with dry chicken and accompanied by a side compartment of sprouts and peanuts that did nothing to enhance the flavor. My boyfriend got the coconut chicken soup. While this was slightly better than my soup, the broth was thin and almost oily, tasting overwhelmingly like butter and not much else. The crowning touch came with his green chicken curry, which looked unappetizing and tasted even worse. The sauce didn't even taste like curry, and the combination of chicken, sauce, and an overwhelming amount of bamboo was deemed "the worst thai food I have ever had" by my boyfriend. He left his meal almost completely untouched. Overall, this was a huge disappointment and totally NOT worth the money.

Good Food Period. Ordered the mango chicken. Very tasty, nice portions, moderately priced. Would visit again. Service was prompt and friendly!

The owner is rude, defensive. Called my wife a liar!. This place used to be my favorite Thai restaurant. That all changed tonight with our take out. My wife's order didn't taste good. She called and the owner answered. She let the man know that her food was terrible and that she'd either like a refund or a note saying her next order is free. The owner immediately got defensive, demanded that we bring his food back before he'd replace anything, and continued to raise his voice, interrupt my wife, and question her honesty. He would say "Why should I trust that you're telling me the truth!" She gave up because he was literally screaming over her. I took the food back and confronted the owner, someone I had talked to several times before, someone I thought knew and cared about my patronage. I let him know that his service was unacceptable and left without a refund. I'll never step back in that place again. What kills me is that he would've been refunding a 10 dollar meal. I spend about 50 dollars per month there, or about 600 dollars per year. He was so willing to throw all of that away because his ego was bruised. Unbelievable.

HORRIBLE service. Ordered delivery from them three times. All three times, there was something wrong with the order: something missing, something wrong, no soup and salad with the lunch special, etc. The restaurant promised to credit my account but never did. (I am following up on that with my credit card company now!) The food was ordinary at best. The last time I ordered from them - the last time I WILL EVER order from them - the delivery driver called me downstairs from my work building to pick up the order from him, then kept me waiting for five minutes because he wasn't there yet, then CURSED ME OUT because I didn't tip him enough - and then the RESTAURANT called to yell at me for not tipping the driver enough, EVEN THOUGH they'd already gotten my order wrong! As I've said, I will never order from there again, and I would strongly warn others away from this restaurant - the quality of the food is just not good enough to outweigh the dishonesty and horrible service.

Not Good. How do we say this? Yuck!

The food was so-so. The service was awful. The place actually smelled bad. Even the sodas where bad! How do you make bad Coke in Atlanta for goodness sake?!

Never, ever, ever again. It was just too painfull.

Finally!. I just happened to see this place on the way home from work one day. Having just moved here from the West Coast, I'm used to great Thai on every corner. Atlanta has some good Thai restaurants, but this is the kind of Thai I've been looking for! Truly excellent. I can't wait to go back. The Green Curry was particularly good, and the Basil Rolls were light and fresh. To top it off, the service was very attentive and sincere.
