In Short – The cantina's cobalt-blue interior features dark-stained wood booths and several tables where a young, chummy crowd tosses back cold Pabst Blue Ribbons and noshes on Mexican fare under the watchful eye of the friendly owner-operator. For a starter, smoky chipotle-jalapeno salsa is served with warm, salted tricolor chips. Vegetarian chili--hearty lentils, pintos and black beans--makes a nice comfort food. The main attraction burritos are made with steak, adobo chicken, tofu or barbecue pork.

Great neighborhood Eatery!

Good food. The adobe chicken tacos, the burritos, and the black bean cuban are wonderful. As to what to watch out for, well, that would be speed of service. They are not always the most prompt. Sunday brunch is a great price for the food you get. Oh, try the jalapeno grits - I wish they were stone ground, but for not being so, very good!
Regarding parking - you are in a neighborhood. It is not an issue, as street parking is plentiful. If you are opposed to walking a block, then maybe you should go to Waffle House.

Quiet and nice! Plus, PBR pitchers are $4 on Tuesdays!

Great place. The service is excellent. A bit of a family-type place, but I got over that quickly considering the PBR pitchers were $4. That made everything excellent. Forgive the grammatical errors, I did take advantage of the $4 PBR pitchers, did I mention that? Ha, anyways the service was prompt, the location was in a somewhat quiet part of Cabbagetown, I guess? The food was better than other restaurants that are bars. Overall, give this place a chance. I had the Philly Cheese Chicken Style Sandwich, with Asian Coleslaw, and it was excellent. Again, the $4 PBR pitchers, holy S$it. Nice restroom, might I add.
- Pros: Cheap pitchers, and decent food.
- Cons: Um, I guess it is a little more family oriented early on, but just come later, no problem!
