Upon every visit we are always surprised with an unexpected procedure that MUST be done. I don't believe that preventive care is practiced. I don't feel as if the doctor or her staff is clear in communicating the condition of your child's teeth and the risks involved or the reasons why waiting could lead to more serious procedures. Most pediatric dentists won't even perform the treatments done to my child's teeth at age 3. I would be very cautious in allowing the doctor to perform anything unexpected on your child's teeth. The staff has a tendency to "corner" you into allowing the procedure to be done through fear and judgement. I would not recommend this dentist to anyone. And on top of that, it is expensive and they do not accept any insurance. No wonder they do unnecessary expensive treatments on children....they don't have to file any claims to be paid for it.

I don't know. Call me silly, but shouldn't a dentist return phone calls after hours? Well this one didn't after being paged 4 times. My son had a tooth extracted, he is 8. There was some pain and bleeding after. I tried calling, but guess what.. no one ever called back. The Dentist told me on the phone the next day that "there were some issues" with their answering service, but quickly then turned the conversation to the fact that she has treated hemopheliacs and other "much more serious" situations, and she doubted that it should have concerned me that he was still having some bleeding and a lot of pain. He was crying. To her.. in our conversation, there was no sensitivity to this. I say.. there are many dentists in Atlanta. Find one with an answering service that works and that takes responsibility for POOR SERVICE....
