My family and I frequent the McDonough and Fayetteville locations and we have never had a bad experience. The food is pretty good, substitute the beef brisket in anything that comes with beef (hamburger meat) and you cannot go wrong. The atmosphere can be noisy at times and there is usally a wait (a testament to the popularity of the place). So go early or go late to avoid the wait, go at primetime and you could wait anywhere from 30 mins to an hour. The chips and salsa is pretty good but the heat of the salsa is sometimes inconsistent. The timing of the courses feels sometimes rushed but if you don't have any appetizers your food gets to your table rather quickly and steaming hot. The service is usually outstanding but sometimes can get slow with the big crowds these places serve. My biggest complaint is about the sopapillas. Sopapillas do not consist of flour tortillas deep fried and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. A real sopapilla is pretty much like a hollowed out roll of warm soft dough that has been lightly fried and is served with a side of honey. You tear the corner off the sopapilla and fill it with a little bit of honey and you have heaven. I have even emailed their website, informing them of their mistake and was never given a reply. Other that that, it's a good place to eat.
Pros: Good food, great prices, quick service most of the times
Cons: timing of the food, crowds, noisy, no real sopapillas

We had a group of about 13 of us. The service by Cesar was exceptional. Each and everyone of us had something different and were pleased with our meals. Big portions, great service. We heard about the margaritas but we were there with bigwigs and unable to "partake". I noticed they proudly post their "Best of Citysearch" plaque at the front door which instigated me to go on here and make this review. Prices were great. Each of the plates were around $6-$10. The only thing I would change is the loud music at least during lunch hours, I am hard of hearing with any type of background noise and I was unable to join in any conversations. But it did add to the atmosphere. There is supposedly a mriachi band in the evenings. I am a faithful Papacitos follower but for a less expensive meal for lunch...definitely would make my first choice. . I went to the one in the location which isn't online here. We went to the one on Howell Mill Rd
Pros: food,Service, prices
Cons: loud music during lunch hour.
