i feel so sexxy in this club!!. I love the club and the older crowed scenery..i really step up in there and actually wanna start stripping on the pole that they have...lol..great fun at phase one i will be back before gay pride this time muah!!!

Tip Top. I went to the club saturday night it was awesome compared to what I've seen here in atlanta so far. Try open mike night spokenword sometimes. Something laid back!

Musical chairs. I always go 2 phase I for a 2 reasons.First to get in free at a certain time and secondly 2 get a damn good seat. In the club its about eight tables and 16 chairs. If u r not there early to get a seat well u r just assed out. But the host and entertainers r on point everytime i come here.

Boring. I went to Phase last month and had a boring time! The few attractive women that were there were with someone, and the others seemed to be on the prowl very hard! There was nothing to look at unless you're into Big Beautiful Full-Figured women. I went on a Friday night, which was not crowded at all. People showed up around midnight and that did not help the tired crowd. Nothing but rap music played, and the strippers did not seem to be into it. They were rather tiresome. Only go if there if there is no place else to hang out.

Phase one. It was a fun night at Phase One

The crowd was a little older than the "teenie bopper" scene it seems Atlanta is notorious for.

I really enjoyed the show. It was a lot different from your average "drag queen "

More like drag King to be precise..... As a femme lesbian....... that is hot!

A little dirty bathroom buisness

But the music was good enough to dance all night

Just what you needed!. This place is the perfect hangout when you're black, gay and looking for fun! The shows are what I like the best and the people are lively.The club does need more seats for the patrons and I miss the days when you only had to be 18 to get in.( haven't been there since!!) It was one of the few clubs that did that so it was always packed and probably still is! It is also one of the few gay clubs that open on Sundays and the Sunday nights are my personal favorites. You never really know whats going to happen at phase one but you know its going to be fun of interesting at the very least.

Yeah, its hot!!!. I recently went to Phase One on last Thursday, October 20, 2005, and I found it to be quite welcoming. I agree that they should put out more chairs so more of the patrons can sit and enjoy the dancers, and it would give the dancers an opportunity to make more money as who can refuse a chair dance from one of those hot dancers??? FIYA and Ridikulus were and are my favorites from other places. I met a few nice people there to, and after the show, the music was OFF THE CHAIN!!! Too bad I had to leave so at 3:30 so I could get up at 5:00 a.m.. :o( Check it out yawl! Its worth it. Make sure you tip the dancers as they work hard and give a damn good show. Oh, the host, Ms. Sophia was off the chain!!!!

In My Opinion. I recently attended Phase One. And the club itself is a good place for us Gays and Lesbians to enjoy ourself and meet other people, just have a great time overall. My thing is the SHOW, which is wonderful, but I feel if you're going to have a show and want the crowd to enjoy it more, I feel that there should be more chairs for everyone to sit and have fun with the performers. Place chairs out without tables and once the show is over, then have the chairs taken up for all the dance after. And if the FAMILY and other guest family member wants special seats then those table and chairs should be placed for them along the side. Just expressing my thought.

Gay neighborhood club is a nightlife diamond in the rough.. The Scene
Surrounded by check-cashing outlets and pawnshops, Phase One stands out in this neighborhood. Off the large dance floor and separate bar area, low-lit leather booths work as a romantic landing strip. Regulars, who run the gamut from hip-hop chic to suburban casual, dish dirt in the informal setting. Hip-hop, old-school and urban dance beats set the musical mood.

The Draw
Black gays and lesbians head to Phase One for a fun night on the east side of town. The Decatur bar breaks from the less diverse Midtown scene, and the staff creates a welcoming atmosphere for the underserved community by filling the bar's weekly calendar. For an inexpensive look at the place, try the $1 Thursday nights. If you like a show, choose from drag on Fridays, go-go dancers on Saturdays and karaoke on Wednesdays. The overall effect is a nice neighborhood club--no more, no less.
