The owner/technician (Genie) is vertually impossible to deal with. She is extremely abrupt, borderlining on rude, and I would have never used her if I weren't under extreme duress at the time. And heaven forbid you can't make your appointment and try to reschedule (I got called into work), she acted like it was a personal insult and didn't bother to call me back. Overall, Genie was so unpleasant I wound up cutting my extensions out just so I wouldn't have to deal with her again.

Beyond Amazning. I have been getting my hair done by Genie for over a year. I wanted to take a moment to say that I am beyond satisfied! I love the atmosphere and not once have I had a problem with my hair. Prior to coming here, I had severly damaged hair because of stress and "GHETTO WEAVES." I could not stand my hair being braided-up completely, nor could I take the numerous hours under the dryer waiting for my full head of braids to dry not my weave. Now, I can continue to get my relaxer and touch-ups when I need them and I don't have to stick a pencil in my head just to scratch my scalp. I can use my fingers now! My hair doesn't shead and I can put it in a high ponytail without a problem. I can honestly say this is the best thing for my hair. I found the website and immediately became intrigued with wanting to know if she could help me get my hair to grow back to my original mid-back length. I called and was pleased with the excitement of her daughter's voice as she explained what they could for for my hair. I'm not afraid to take chances so after my consultation I scheduled my first appointment. I'm so glad I did. I was not pressured at all. It has been a year later, I'm still coming for my regular appointment and I my hair is now growing back and it is very thick and healthy!

If you are tired of your hair taking forever to dry, hair breaking off, sheading, and not growing, then I would highly suggest you calling for a consultation. This will be one of the best calls you could ever make and you will not be disappointed. I absolutely love my hair and I love Genie and her daughter as well. Also, if you want to call and you want to call me to confirm, then ask them for my number and I tell you myself! Now, if you are still a skeptic, then I can meet you there as well and you can see for yourself!

Highly Recommended. I saw Genie a few weeks ago for my hair enhancements and from my visit up to now I have been very happy with my decision to visit her. I can't believe the poor reviews that she did a bad job because mine look amazing. I am caucasian with naturally normal, slightly wavy, mid-back length layered hair and my tracks have held up very well. You can not tell whatsoever that I am wearing any enhancements.

I have used fusion extensions in the past and my once thick, long hair looked like crap. My hair now looks as it once did! After being quoted hundreds and hundreds of dollars elsewhere (at one point for synthetic hair) it was refreshing to find someone skilled and experienced not looking to completely taking advantage of my wallet. I think people need to be REALISTIC with their expectations - if you add 18 inches of hair to your own short bob yeah it's probably going to look weird no matter who does it ie. Kate Gosselin.

Anyway, Genie and her daughter were wonderful to talk to and I felt very comfortable and I can't wait to see them again in a few weeks for my touch up! Highly recommended.

a wonderful experience. Everything from beginning till the end was great at la hair extensions. I have been wearing mine for 3 weeks now and I am extremely satisfied. Genie was very professional and knowledgeable. This was the first time I got extensions and I was very scared that someting bad would happen. Genie put my mind at ease by explaining the process in detail and answering all my questions no matter how silly they were. I will gladly go back to Genie for all my future extension needs and I will higly recommend her to anyone seeking beautiful, natural looking hair.

Beware of this con artist!!. Genie is a complete con artist, save yourself the time and money and run far away from this lady and go to a true professional!!! Genie will tell you that her prices are the lowest, but I spent way more having her disasterous MESS of extensions fixed than if I would've gone to a reputable salon to begin with! First of all, she will tell you that in order for the hair to be "guaranteed" you must purchase it from her, and she will charge you an arm and a leg for it. Whenever you buy hair from any beauty supply store, it is ALWAYS guaranteed if it begins to tangle etc., so this was her first lie. The hair she ordered for me did not match my hair color at all, and when she sewed them on, they looked completely fake & unnatural. You could tell where my hair ended and where the extensions began from a mile away. She also doesn't know how to cut the extensions so that they blend in with your own natural hair. The extensions are extremely bulky and bumpy, and I couldn't even put my hair in a ponytail after she sewed that mess onto my head.

Thankfully, my regular stylist fixed the "work" that she did. Please - save yourself the time & money and run far away from this lady! Learn from my mistakes.

BEWARE OF THE HYPE!!!!!. I looked at the website and thought this was a good place to go. After speaking with Genie she seamed to be pretty arrogant like she was the only person in the world who could do enhancements. She says she invented the process. I find that really hard to believe when you walk into the little run down shop of hers. On her website site she say that your questions will be answered and she guarantees her work. I asked her about the quality of hair she uses and she was livid. If I am going to pay all of this money for hair I have the right to know about the product that will be used. I didn't like her attitude and will be going someplace else, more upscale and professional. By the way I was VERY skeptical when her own head was looking a hot mess. Beware Beware!!!

Are You Kidding Me?. I am writing this review on behalf of a friend of mine who recently visited this salon. Poor thing, I did not have the heart to tell her how terrible her hair looked, and she was so confused and frustrated at the results, I just had to let others know. My friend has short, wavy, fine hair and had this long straight hair attached to her head. The piece was so ugly, it literally looked like a mullet. The extensions were pinned on very low on her head so you could see the attachment very clearly. The cut was terrible and it was very clear that she had a hairpiece on (hence MULLET!). My friend went back once already to have it fixed, then had the hair taken out just a week later at another salon. Apparently when she had the piece taken out at a reputable place, they said it was falling out already and that the stylist had cut out chunks of her hair, that didnt fit into the piece. My poor friend just wasted a ton of money on this scam, and I hope you don't do the same. These people are clearly untrained and inexperienced.

Best Hair Extension / Hair Enhancements in the South. After searching for over 8 years, I was blessed to come upon LA Hair in Atlanta. I have been wearing hair extensions for over 15 years but could not find anyone who could do the technique I was used to...no braid, no lumps, no net...Genie is a professional and has the history and expertise to back it up. I drove from Columbus GA for a consultation and she told me exactly what she could do...and she delievered just that. Working on appointment only, my time was all devoted just to me. She made my year. My search is over. I have received so many compliments in the last week. I can't wait to go back in 6 weeks for my tightening...not only is she a great stylist...but she deposits such wisdom when you are there. I have had all sorts of hair extension over the past 9 years...but this is not hair extensions this is hair enhancement. If you want to be absolutely satisfied with the outcome...Call Genie..If you want to be a diva when you leave her chair..call Genie..She is the best!!! No Doubt!!! Genie...see you soon.....

It's truly not a weave, it's hair extensions...beautiful gorgeous healthy extensions. I have worn it all from individuals, to micros, to infusion, to fusion, to microlinks, to sew-ins to glue-ins to wigs and I have never ever had hair like this. It is beyond beautiful and so natural that I can't believe its not butter! Best of all my hair is exposed and so is my scalp, so I don't have to look like a dumb dumby when I'm try to itch a scratch. The extension weft/track area is so small it's neglibible.On top of providing a great invaluable product, the customer service is unparalleled. As a professional/career woman, I love that my time is appreciated and that when I come in, I'm the only person being serviced in private and on time. No pesky personal phone calls or people running in and out of the salon or dreaded lunch break or working someone else in. With all this said, if you go somewhere else, go at your own risk, if you want top quality from a salon that values your time and your money and true hair care from somone who is knowledgeable with years of experience, then go see Geanie and LA HAIR extensions...lahairatl
