IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED A DUI CALL MR. LAWSON!!! I am a former military service member and currently a Federal Employee with a security clearance. I was pulled over in Georgia, arrested refused the breath analyzer, and was charged with DUI. I found Mr. Lawson’s website, which had many outstanding reviews and gave him a call. Mr. Lawson was professional and courteous and guided me throughout the entire ordeal. He really takes his job serious and he sincerely cares about his client’s well-being. He remained this way throughout the entire ordeal. He always returned my calls promptly. Mr. Lawson used his skills to guide me through the pretrial sequence of events, which I followed to the letter. Today, I do not have a DUI on my driving record and I owe this to Mr. Lawson’s keen senses and knowledgeable skills with dealing with the laws and judicial system in Georgia. He understood the ramifications of losing my security clearance and he applied a no-nonsense strategy to clearing me of the charge. I normally do not do write reviews, but I decided to write this one because I wanted people to know, if they are charged with a DUI, without a doubt to hire Mr. Lawson. This is a no-brainer; this gentleman is a top-notch attorney and definitely one of the best around. I promise, you will be glad you did!

Great DUI Attorney. It was my 2nd DUI which is very severe in GA and I was looking at 7-14 days in jail with community service and heavy fess with losing my license for a year, but to my very surprise Mr. Lawson pulled out my case pretty good. The final verdict was that my charges got reduced to reckless. I would say he is one of the best lawyers I have ever seen with full professionalism and kept me informed all the time.

I would definitely recommend Mr. Lawson to someone who is looking for DUI Attorney.

Great Attourney. Richard did a wonderful job representing me in my recent DUI case. I was traveling in GA from out of state when I was arrested. After reading other reviews I contacted Richard's office and was immediately impressed. Richard did an excellent job of explaining the situation and my options. I felt comfortable with him immediately. In the end, he was able to get my DUI reduced to reckless driving and and I could not be happier with the results and my experience with him and his office. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Richard Lawson is by far the BEST Lawyer in Georgia. I was on my way home from Northern Georgia and heading to Central Florida. I was pulled over by the Georgia Highway Patrol for speeding and was eventually charged with DUI Refusal (2nd Time). While Speaking with Richard after I have been released from jail it was around 10pm and Richard answered his phone the first time I called. We spoke about what had transpired and he also told me my options with me possibly hiring him. He was hired by the end our conversation. During the course of my case I never had to return to Georgia. By the end of my case Richard had gotten my DUI Refusal (2nd time) dismissed and reduced to Reckless Driving. In addition to this whenever I called or emailed Richard he would respond within an hour or less. I now am confident to recommend Richard to anyone that needs similar help while in the state of Georgia and lives out of state.

Saved my job!. I was scared to death the morning after my DUI. First facing my boss, then dealing with the sudden need to find an attorney RIGHT NOW...with no idea how to go about it. Richard was the first call I made after an hour of web searching and reading these reviews, wondering how I was going to separate the wheat from the chaff. I made only two more calls and as I was waiting on hold for an eternity at the second call, I realized that I had already found my attorney - the one who answered his phone and talked to me directly!

Richard kept me on track and informed as to what I should do and when I should do it. He was patient with my questions (I've never been in trouble with the law before) and set my expectations correctly - it won't be over fast, and every case is different! Through it all he was professional and calm - two things I definitely needed and appreciated.

The call that I got from him telling me he had gotten my charge reduced to reckless driving, a fine, and community service (already completed, thanks to his advice) was one of the greatest feelings in my adult life! He saved my job and career, and I can't thank him enough or recommend him strongly enough! Don't make the mistake twice, but if you've made a mistake, get Richard on your side as fast as you can!

I was so worried!. Richard Lawson was helpful from the start! He was very honest and upfront, and made sure I understood the proper expectations, but that he would do everything in his power to help me out. I knew right then he was ethical and honest. Throughout the process, he was quick to answer all my questions, was very patient with me, and wanted to make sure I understood everything fully. He also gave me good advice about steps I should take to prove my credibility and responsibility as he fought for my case. I am so happy that he got my DUI reduced to reckless driving! This means so much for my life, my future and my career. I was so nervous about the effects that a charge like that could have on my future, and now I can rest assured that I can still advance in my career without the hurdles of such a harsh charge! I was so scared. I was devastated and scared to death when I received a DUI in Lawrenceville. I refused the breath test at the jail, so not only faced the DUI charge, but my license was revoked for a year. How could I work without a driver’s license? We released our first attorney because he would not return phone calls. Richard was very responsive, and walked us through each step answering all our questions. The results were amazing. The DUI was reduced to reckless driving. The DDS hearing was dismissed with a full reinstatement of my driver’s license. Richard was even able to get two other driving charges dropped, so those points would not be on my record, and finally, was able to get probation waived. That was huge. Again, I was afraid I would lose my job if I had to take time off to get to a probation visit once a month. I would recommend Richard Lawson to anyone that asks. His customer service and results was top notch.

a great outcome. I cannot say enough about my satisfaction with attorney Richard Lawson. Getting a DUI charge against me was a nightmare beyond my imagination. What would happen to me, would I go to jail, or lose my ability to drive to work; how could I make a living? Attorney Lawson worked on my case as a total professional and was able to get an outcome that not only kept me out of jail but also kept me on the road. Richard Lawson managed the IMPOSSIBLE!. I never thought I'd be in this situation again... a second DUI. By the time I got home from my arrest there were already mounds of DVDs and solicitations for attorneys in my mailbox. Luckily for me, a friend recommended me to Richard Lawson. I called him, and he immediately calmed me down and laid everything out for me straight. The personal attention he gave me was overwhelming. He was always available for me to talk about my case and never made me feel like I asked stupid questions - which I know I did. Well, I am here to tell you right now - my court case was just this morning and I felt compelled to write - Richard Lawson managed the impossible. He kept me out of jail and gave me the ability to keep driving... COMPLETELY unheard of in a second DUI arrest, charges dropped to what someone might receive for a very first conviction. What happened to me was a horrible mistake, one I will never make again, but somehow Mr. Lawson gave me a new lease on my world. I work in the faith-based and humanitarian world in television, and Richard and his team gave me the ability to continue my work. My parents cried when they heard today's outcome. Great Representation from Richard Lawson. I was arrested for DUI and did not know where to turn. I researched various lawyers. I called Richard on a Saturday morning and he immediately called me back. He listened to my situation and walked me through the entire process.
