Terrible experience at Swoozie's! Not recommended!!. After seeing that Swoozie's had won a CitySearch award and gotten a fantastic review, we decided to check out the store in hopes of finding envelopes for our wedding invitation. We didn't have a lot of time to shop around, so we were hoping that Swoozie's would have what we needed and we could pick up the envelopes in the store without having to order them. We must have gone to the store on a bad day because we had a TERRIBLE experience! We walked in to a practically empty store, though the few customers in there were the typical Buckhead types and all of them had a cell phone glued to their ear. The envelope selection was not extensive, but we managed to find one style that we liked, but there were only 6 envelopes available. When we tried to inquire about getting more envelopes, we had to wait 20 minutes before anyone would help us. There were plenty of employees working but they all managed to duck into the back room and avoided helping us. When we finally were able to ask if they had more stock in the back room, the employee was no help. She had no idea what the store had or didn't have! So..we had to order more from the paper supplier. The order itself turned into a disaster! We were told our order would be in in 3-4 days. 5 days later I got a call saying the supplier didn't even carry the size we wanted in the style we wanted, so we would have to order something else. I was so upset! We were on a tight schedule and didn't have time for this lag in the ordering. Even my phone conversations with the staff regarding this issue were unpleasant, as one girl was downright rude to me on the phone when I asked about coming back in to pick out another style.

All in all, the staff is incompetent, unfriendly, and unhelpful. The selection of the store is decent, but trying to get any help was nearly impossible. We went to Papyrus at Lenox and found exactly what we wanted at a MUCH cheaper price. Don't waste your time at Swoozie's. I will never, ever go there again!!

Cards & Gifts For Every Occasion!. Just a one block walk from my home on 26th.St. is the wonderful "Swoosie's" at Brookwood Square. I can just run in quickly for a greeting card, small gift, or whatever else catches my eye. The staff, all customers, who just happened in, are so helpful. Party supplies, naughty cocktail napkins, and just fun ideas always. Get on their mailing list. And their personalized stationary is very nice. And wedding and new baby gifts, and that mug for my Bulldog fan! Serving glasses for every occasion, and good kitchen dress-up items.

Entertain with extra panache with goodies from this above-average card shop.. The Scene
Swoozie's is not your average shopping-center card shop. This store is quickly gaining a loyal clientele of savvy hosts who are known for giving the best parties and presents. A fun place to shop for cocktail-party accessories, picture frames, or even jewelry, this store is hard to leave empty-handed.

The Goods
Displays are set up by theme--cocktail party, birthday, pet gear, picture frames, jewelry, baby gifts, kids, etc. Each section is packed to the brim with colorful merchandise that is sometimes trendy and clever, sometimes classic and elegant.
