best restaurant in lawrenceville!. this place has the best wings around! i go every wednesday for buy-one get-one free wings and then go again on thursdays for trivia. they have awesome steaks too! try it and see for yourself!!!
thank you for the nice comments. we appreciate your business!
Don't go on Thursday Nights.
Do yourself a favor and try this place anytime BUT Thursday nights! Thursday nights has the worst service at the bar. Our beers were empty the whole time and the bartenders were too busy flirting with their boyfriends to serve us new ones. The bartender was extremely unprofessional and had a horrible attitude.
Try to go on the weekends!
We have been there on the weekends and have had wonderful service even when they are busy. The food is probably the best in this area and it's a great place to watch the races and ballgames.
thank you for the feedback. i apologize for you thursday night experience. i would like to get more information from you about this incident do we can nip it in the bud. please email me frankie@ottavern.com. thank you
Best Place For Football & Wings in Lville. On a Saturday or Sunday, it's a great place to watch a game. When I get a craving for wings and beer, this is the best place that I've found in the area for wings. Occasionally, I head there for lunch, and they've got a pretty decent lunch menu, but weekends are the best time to go.
Okay.
I really enjoyed the place except for a couple of things. My family and I went in there to have lunch on a Saturday afternoon and watch the football game. I mean the place was packed which is awesome to have a bunch of fans cheering for a team, and the food was great too.
My only complain was the service. They were really nice, but really slow. I am not sure if its because of the large crowd or what, but they were pretty slow.
None the less I had a good time watching the game and am willing to give it another shot.
Lunch Regular. Great lunch spot. Service is friendly, kitchen is quick and the food is always hot. Go at least once, sometimes twice a week. I like that I get to catch all my sports updates while I'm there too. You can't look anywhere without seeing a tv with one of the ESPN stations on, love it!
The kids love it!. My family and I go out with a few other couples and their kids at least twice a month. Normally Olde Town is the unanimous choice. They have great variety: kids get their chicken tenders, wings or pizza and the adults can get a good steak. We normally go to the Suwanee one, but tried the Lawrenceville one recently. We had amazing service. The strip I ordered was originally undercooked but the problem was fixed immediately and it was delicious. Good food, great service, and great beer selection! Highly recommend this place with a group or family!
Had a blast!. A group of us went to the Suwanee location last saturday to watch the Florida/LSU game (we're gator fans) and even though the outcome of the game wasn't what we would have liked, we had a great time! The place was packed and there was a great vibe throughout the place. Staff was very friendly and the martinis were amazing! All we had to eat were bar snacks...nachos, wings, pizzas...but they were good enough to get again and again! This is definitely our spot to watch our games!
LOVE THIS PLACE!. Me and the girls LOVE coming here for drinks! The staff is awesome and incredibly attentive to us and the food is excellent! I could not ask for a better bar to relax in! The managers always make sure we are taken good of! I come often because of the great service!
What a dissappointment!.
I read the reviews and we decided to give it a try. What a dissappointment. We asked about the special which sounded interesting. We ordered it. A few moments later we were told they had run out. It was only 5 PM? What's that all about?
So I ordered the Prime Rib, medium, blackened. What I got was a strip steak, medium-well, that tasted like a mexican chili dish. I did not send it back because I did not want to wait. The seasonings were not cajun seasonings, in the least - cumin and chili powder. And they put so much seasoning on the meat that I was able to scrape it off in spoonfuls.
What a dissappointment. I explained the problem to the waitress who did not strike me as the kind of person who would relay my concerns.
Not another food chain. I was pleasantly surprised when I went to this restaurant. The menu has a great variety and really is a good value. It just seems like every restaurant has the same stuff. I'm a bit of a beer snob, so I wasn't overly impressed with their beer selection, but at least they had Sweetwater ;) Service was great!!
