Editorial Review for Blue Moon Pizza – by Brian Suber
The Scene
Blue is the color of delicious in this North Metro pizza palace that draws a mix of couples, families, business cohorts and solo diners. The open dining room features a wash of blue walls, industrial-metal light fixtures, a throng of tables and a large bar that groans under the weight of draft and bottled beers and liquors. Welcoming servers navigate through the crowds from the open kitchen to serve an array of pizza pies and pitchers.
The Food
For pie-o-philes, the hand-tossed, thin-crust specialty menu runs the gamut, from traditional to spicy fare, like the bacon cheeseburger, Thai or Santa Fe pizzas. More adventurous diners can build their perfect platter from a menu of dozens of toppings. Generous portions, fresh toppings and the proprietor's own sauce blend--never too thick and slightly sweet--meld perfectly on the plate. Appetizers and homemade desserts round out the menu.

The pizza was ok. I do think the staff was alittle up tight. Altogether I would visit again but not in a rush to return. If I were in the area it could potentially be a decent lunch spot or meeting place to chat and enjoy my friends and eat a slice.
Pros: once order was placed the wait was short
Cons: Seating arrangment was crowded waitor keep bumping my chair as she walked by
