Bad Service, From the Top Down. Well, after leaving this location with another botched haircut, I decided to email GreatClips and let them know about my poor cut, and the last few I've had. After a few days, I got an email from the franchise owner. I would seriously think twice about going here if you're a prospective or current customer. The customer service must feed down from the top. Here's his response verbatim: "When receiving a customer complaint, normally, I?d type a short apology letter, send a free gift card, and forward your comments to my store managers and GM?s. But after reading your email a few times, I felt compelled to research your complaint personally and try to figure out exactly what happened. You?ve been a loyal customer of our Norcross store for a several years. But you?re telling me that on ?all four? of your most recent visits we?ve ?botched? your hair. Digging further, I see that on 3 of these 4 visits the stylist who ?botched? your hair is the exact same stylist who satisfied you in prior visits. And I can say with confidence that the stylists in question are all top notch. Each has 15+ years of experience, and each only gets about 1 or 2 customer complaints per year. For three of our best stylists to have pleased you in prior visits but ?butchered? you during your most recent visits implies that they?ve all simultaneously lost their cutting talents, that the customer is just looking for a free haircut, or that the customer simply cannot be satisfied. And concerning your final comment that I should ?seriously, get (my) business together?? I?m sorry you?re not a ?satisfied customer?. On the contrary, I?m happy that in spite of this horrid economy, my sales are up double digits again this year. I attribute that increase to the great caliber of stylists who I employ.
