“The benefits of the class are huge.”
This is one of the finest yoga studios in the country. With expert Certified Yoga Instructors, beautiful studios and a nurturing environment and its broad range of classes and courses, Atlanta Hot Yoga will offer something perfect for you.
Enjoyed it.
I purchased one month unlimited deal from halfoffdepot. My month just ended and I've taken 17 classes in that period. It is a pretty nice studio. All the instructors were friendly and welcoming. My favorite instructor is Jason. I've only done a hot class with him and I love his instructions.
I do feel that this studio is expensive. I just purchased a groupon for Red Hot Yoga and will try them out. Their prices seem cheaper if I do decide to purchase classes without halfoffdepot or groupon. I will miss Jason's instructions though. But maybe there is someone at Red Hot Yoga just as good.
Jason is Awesome!. I LOVE this place. Although it was very sad to see Bethany leave, I feel that the instruction is overall still top notch. I was kind of surprised to hear the harsh criticism directed at Jason. He has always been nothing but kind and helpful, and his classes are generally the most challenging. Unfortunately, none of the studios are convenient for me, but I make the drive whenever I can!
Not the studio it used to be.
Having loved this Hot Yoga Studio for 3.5 years, I’m sad to say it's no longer the place it used to be. The heart & soul of the studio--Bethany, manager for 8+ years--was recently run out by the owner. However, new & bigger studios next door, frequent hot classes that are really hot!, & a convenient location in MidTown do still make this studio as busy as it was under previous management.
But while the amenities are good, the instructors are, at best, mediocre. Along with Bethany, the owner also ran out his best instructors, all of whom subsequently followed Bethany to brand-new Red Hot Yoga in Miami Circle. The remaining instructors are either harmlessly benign--they know the progressions well enough to instruct but seem generally disinterested & are by no means experts--or are aggressively surly & rude, as is the case with Jason*.
[*Trained & tutored by Bethany, Jason (ironically) knowingly stayed on at Atlanta Hot Yoga while the owner drove out managers Bethany & husband Wes, & now teaches a large portion of the classes. While he teaches a tight, rather good class, unfortunately what Jason didn’t learn from Bethany was her upbeat, hospitable manner. Both during & outside of class his obnoxious attitude makes any form of interaction nearly impossible. If you attend his classes, avoid interaction with Jason like the plague. He's a "yoga buzz-killer."]
In short, Atlanta Hot Yoga may still check off the laundry list of desired amenities, but the experience itself leaves much to be desired: the energy is disinterested & the service frustrating & sometimes downright rude. What was once a fantastic studio is now a cash machine for its owner, lacking any real character or charm.
We hope you will return to Atlanta Hot Yoga to preview the quality instruction provided by our unique and talented instructors.
Love this yoga place!. I go here about once a month and the instructors are great. I have not been to the Buckhead location but I hear great things. I hope to get there soon!
gay jim loves it. cant get enough --- love it. Calming meets charm! Keep it up! I think your staff is amazing! If I went to this as much as I know I should I would be a much happier at ease person!
best yoga in town. Love this place- always an amazing time! the staff is helpful and very in touch with the class- the place looks amazing too
Best Hot Yoga. As far as hot yoga goes, the class is really great, it's a variation of Bikram - and way better than Bikram. I think that most BIkram instructors are nazis and only know how to runoff at the mouth, yet lack in actual teaching skills. The Atlanta Hot Yoga Instructors seem to really want to help you, not yell at you. If you're going to do HOt yoga, do it here - seriously, don't waste your time on Bikram unless you want back problems or knee problems. I use to take Bikram and it took me a while to get use to this variation, but once I did - I couldn't believe all the nonsense that those Bikram instructors were force feeding me, I feel liberated... Bikram Yoga should be called Bikram Exercise, not yoga - AHY has real instruction.
Superb!!. I am so pleased with Atlanta Hot Yoga. Their schedule is flexible and they offer a wide variety of classes - hot yoga, power, pilates, stretch, vinyasa. And the prices are just right. The instructors are knowledgeable regardless of your level. I love that they treat you with grace, respect and dignity even when they are challenging you!
Best hot yoga!. I started with Atlanta Hot Yoga around 2-3 weeks with the 10 consecutive days for $30 plan and I truly love it! I cannot stop attending classes. The instructors are so approachable and helpful! Dont be afraid to ask them with help about injuries, flat feet, etc. They really do give you great tips to do while in their yoga class and I have improved so much because of their encouragement! During classes, all instructors make sure you are doing the pose correctly and stretching your body deeply. In addition to, the classes arent overly crowded, the studio is very clean, and the fees are extremely reasonable!
