What a fun concept for a Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi restaurant, too bad its in Toco Hills. If you're looking for a place to get "real" sushi and sashimi look no further. Oh yeah, they have hibachi style cooking on the flat grills if you want some group entertaining. Very quiet and non "buckhead" type restaurant with a very modern interior and great waitresses, I swear our waitress was a model. Be warned, last time I went i sat next to the head of the CDC, she reports to the President of the United States. If she thinks its "good eats" then i cant say why not. Well, if you love sushi and Japanese food this is the place... The Bad: careful when backing out of their parking spaces up front! almost got tail swiped by a SUV! The restaurant is a bit difficult to find at first...just look for the Publics. The restaurant gets a little busy during the peak hours so you may be seated with other couples, still debating whether or not this is a bad or good experience. Slow with getting drink refills, their bartender seems a bit older. Overall, Edo is a quality dining experience.
Pros: Authentic Japanese Sushi and Sashimi, Cool Interior, Service OK.
Cons: Parking can be challanging, Rush hour traffic on N. Druid is horrible, location

Came on a Wednesday night. Not very busy, so I don't understand why the waitress took so long to get our drink and dinner order. Hibachi chef was entertaining but the food came out way too saucy and too salty. I kept drinking my water. The clear soup was decent as well as the salad, but again the dinner was way too salty with too much soy sauce. When we got our check it was $174 for 2 adults and 3 kids and then we realized they added an 18% gratuity. We were kind of shocked that they would do that considering it is usually for parties of 6 or more. Maybe they thought we were poor or something, however, these people didn't realize we are in the restaurant business as well and we always tip 20% or more for great service and food. Total experience, not good at all!!!
Pros: quiet
Cons: food, added 18% gratuity on 2 adults 3 kids not worth the service or the food
