Holly is the answer!.
This is more like a boutique shop with a few rooms in the back than a real spa, but Holly is one of the best practitioners I have worked with. She went right to my pulled muscle, didn't have to ask, and I left in total bliss.
I did have a massage with someone else there who talked through the whole thing and I felt like dough being kneaded by a bread machine. Not tuned in.
Expansive suburban spa doubles as just-for-girls gift shop..
With the suburbs comes the luxury of space, and the sheer size of this spa's sprawling sales and reception area overwhelms. The smiling staff makes guests comfortable in the seating area, but it's hard to resist the urge to get up and ogle the goods. Oodles of skin and body products line the display shelves, and jewelry, knickknacks and gift store paraphernalia fill in the gaps.
Just about every inch of the body can find attention in one of the 12 treatment rooms. Choose from six kinds of facials, four body treatments, two scalp treatments and seven varieties of massages. Botox injections and micro pigmentation, rarely seen at area spas, also make the list. It's too bad that the din from the reception area carries through into the spacious rooms. Even the most tranquil treatments, such as the Rock and Rub, a combination of expert deep tissue and hot stone massage, can't outdo the unwanted noise.
