Excellent Salon. Upon entering Chris Nicholson Salon i was greeted by the friendly staff at the front desk. My appointment was with Amanda Glynn for a cut and highlight. She was very nice and really listened to what i had to say. My hair came out great and i will definitely be back!

GREAT SALON EXPERIENCE - EVERY TIME!. Well, it looks like "Paris " came to town and has her nose out of joint. I have been going to this salon for many years and have NEVER had a bad experience. Sometimes the stylists are more busy than other times, but never have I been slighted in the least. I have always been given prompt attention and made to feel that my desire for my style would be met. By the way, I have my hair colored on every visit and she hasn't missed yet, I get so many compliments on my hair color and I always leave there feeling great about my hair. I do sit on the love seat while she does another client, but I am waiting to process and I do not feel she needs to hover to see if I need coffee, magazine, go to the bathroom - I'm a big girl so I can understand that there are other people who need attention too. So, since I have been there many, many times, I believe that the experience is good and I would recommend this stylist to anyone, BUT you cannot have my appointment time!!!!

Bad Salon experience. I figured that I would go to this salon since it seemed so highly recommended as since I'm from out of town, it seemed the best choice. Bad decision. Little did I know that the salon stylists work on two customers at once. Total crap. For the prices that they charge, you should at least have the stylists full attention for the hour or so that you're there. I needed an all over color so the stylist looked at it for literally two seconds and went to mix color. She didn't ask what I wanted, if I wanted it the same or different- NOTHING. After she slapped it on, she set me on the loveseat facing her chair while she did another client's cut and style. I sat there with color on my hair for almost an hour. Not one person asked if I needed anything and the stylist did not even acknowledge my presence. Then, when she finally shampooed me and was ready to cut, she had another client sat down in the loveseat across from her chair and proceeded to blab to her the whole entire time without speaking to me at all. My color is crappy- the top is lighter than the bottom and I can see that it's going to wash out after a few washings. The girls at the front desk were snobby and they wouldn't let me use my credit card because I was a first time client??? I had to write a check for the tip instead and they charged me two dollars to do so. What a crappy salon with crappy employees. When I spend 135.00 on a cut and color, I want good service attentive stylists. I got none of that there. I will not be going back and I will not recommend them to anyone. I could've done a better job at home.

Renee is FANTASTIC. Being new to Atlanta I needed to find someone to cut and color my hair. I found Renee through a coworker, after being disappointed by several other stylists at other salons. She always does a fantastic job and I walk out feeling like a million bucks. She listens to what you want and works with you. so happy to have found her. I am completely devoted. BUT, I have never even met the owner and wouldn't know who he was if I saw him. I guess it's not a big deal, except I think IRS a nice touch if the owner introduces himself to all clients, not just his own.

Great salon with a Fantastic owner.. After reading reviews on CN salon I made an appointment with the owner Chris. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who asked if I wanted something to drink. I was then whisked off to get a great shampoo by a nice young lady. I waited for Chris at his chair. After years of sticking with the same stylist in Buckhead, I was hoping I could find one in Kennesaw or Acworth. Boy did I find one! Chris introduced himself and asked me about my hair, my last haircut, and what I wanted. Most importantly, he LISTENED. Chris has lived in Atlanta and grew up here. He is articulate, and extremely likable. He made me feel very much as if I had been his client for a long time. He took his time and gave me an EXCELLENT haircut. I enjoyed the salon, the staff and especially the owner Chris. I will 100% be back and have found myself a new stylist.

My new favorite salon!. I visited Chris Nicholson Salon for the first time last week. Amanda Glynn was the stylist that cut & highlighted my hair. She did an awesome job. I can say she really listened to me. I have bounced around salons for about a year now looking for a stylist like her. I will absolutely be back and will recommend her to all my friends and family as well.

Davids Got TALENT!!!!!!!! A gifted stylist.. I have lived in Atl for 8 years. I have gone to many upscale salons for highlights and haircuts. I have to say David exceeded my expectations.What a gifted stylist! He did a great job on my highlights and haircut., he was friendly and professional as well. I have been asked by many people where I get my hair done. I would recommend David to anyone who wants beautiful healthy hair. The staff was friendly and everyone made you feel welcome. I was a walk in and this was a great surprise to walk out with beautiful blone healthy hair. Thanks David for your international experience and talent. You made me feel like a new person. I cant thank you enough.

A Great Cut and Color.... Always. I've had my hair cut/styled by Chris since high school (I'm now 37), and he is always upbeat and fun, and his staff is great! There is always a "smile" on the phone when I call for an appointment, and Chris is always good about squeezing me in if I need a cut on-the-fly! Shannon did my last highlights, cute streaks (peek-a-boo's is what she called them) through my hair, and I LOVE them. The salon is always tidy and professional, while the staff is personable and interactive. I think getting my hair washed is one of my favorite parts of a Chris Nicholson Salon visit... that mini scalp massage makes my day!! If this salon was on Ebay, it would have a 100% feedback, and 5 stars all around! Thanks, Chris and your staff, for making me look and feel beautiful! It's not hard to recommend them, because people ask me where I "get my hair done" all the time!

Great haircut - great atmosphere. I was very impressed with the Chris Nicholson salon. Peaceful, serene, adult atmosphere (and as a Mom to young children this is a treat!), and very friendly service from the entire staff. Brenda was wonderful; very knowledgable and attentive. She listened to my concerns and helped me make a decision about a new cut and color - which I LOVE! And the price was very resonable. I left feeling great and will definitely be back - I have found a new salon home!
