Worn a ponytail every day since my hair was ruined...
by juliagulia2012
Signed up for Citysearch specifically so I could warn people. Fortunately its all been said already. Poor customer service, no respect for time, owner oversells and doesn't deliver. I'm not sure why I was punishing myself by returning and paying them MORE money. My hair was ruined by a stylist formerly employed who razored my hair to frizz. Went to the owner for help and a fix. No fix. Coloring and highlights I didn' want, but guilted into. Plus, he didn't even offer a discount to fix the mistake his employee made. At my last appointment a teenage daughter of an employee blow dried my hair. Since she was telling me about High School, I sincerely doubt she has her license. Shame on you Bill for charging people for first-class service while you cut corners.
Warning !! warning !!! warning!!!

Before i start my horrible story please make sure to check the buckhead location reviews !! It's awful !! Wish I did before !!!!! it would've saved my day .
On valentine day I decided to buy a groupon to cut my hair ..my bad luck :(( I bought William David groupon ($25 for $50 worth of service) I made an appt same day at one ,I get there and I get greeted with a cup of tea ...Now Bill the owner comes to welcome me. Sweat talk me into more services saying my hair needs it ..offers a great deal ! according to him he's gona take care of me
he doesn't do anything ,his staff does everything
...after 4 hrs
I'm waiting now for my haircut ..he takes his sweet time
and by now I'm so late I need to leave ..I send the
message to him with his staff but he still doesnt care to come !!! now I decided to leave thinking I will get the
haircut next time ,in the check out I get so shocked that he want to charge me for his $85 haircut before getting it ????
I refuse to pay that and I say I need to talk to him he keeps me waiting forever sending his staff back and forth and he's hiding!!! Now I'm so mad ! i say thats it I'm leaving and then his manager says if u don't pay we r calling the police !!! what ? r u freaking kidding me couldn't BLEIVE it. This never ever happened to me I start crying
,, now Bill comes out rude ,mean saying same thing threatening me with the police ...I pay leaving that place with tears....don't go there
WORST SALON EVER!

Where do I start? I was there for over 6 hours, with the stylist I question even has the training she should, trying to get teh color right- after my scalp burning and the 6 hours mention before- I was over it! I had a sweetjack coupon that they decline to accept for no reason and was charged hundreds of dollars for NOTHING! I now have to go get the color corrected elsewhere and dispute my charge. Last, the manager at this location should not be in customer service let along able to runa buisness- she's horrible! NEW CLIENTS BEWARE!
A bizarre and awkward experience!

When I saw William David Salon offered a Groupon for an express keratin treatment, a service I had heard raves about, thereby giving me an opportunity to check out a different salon in the area, I jumped on it. I soooo wish I hadn't!
I booked an 11:15 a.m. appointment on a Saturday. The receptionist had explained on the phone that this would take about 1 to 1 1/2 hours. I came in (after having a very difficult time finding the place, as it's not visible from the street and is tucked in a parking lot behind a PetSmart.) The receptionist was very nice, and after only a moment of waiting, I was ushered back.
I put on my smock and went to the "consultation area." The owner, Bill, was consulting with another client and then turned to me. He opened the conversation by letting me know how important he is - that he's done the hair of fitness models on a DVD shoot and swimsuit issue magazine cover models - and proceeded to tell me that the service I came in for is NOT what I wanted. He then explained EVERY service they offer. At one point, he told me that my current hair color is "good to average" and he could do it better. (Mind you, I frequent a high-end salon with very skilled staff and services...it's not like I zip on over to the local dog groomer to have my hair done!). Very insulting! He then proceeded to take a cell phone call during my consult, which he keeps in his pocket! Finally, after 45 MINUTES of a hard sell I can only liken to a used car salesman, he gave me my 2 best options, both at a significant upcharge, and told me it was "my call." I picked one, and in fairness, he gave me a good deal...$100 off, which covered my Groupon and then some, plus threw in a free moisturizing treatment. Would've been an even greater deal had he not felt the need to tell me his profit margins are small and he barely makes money on this anyway, so he's really giving me a great deal. *eye roll*
In short, the admittedly rookie stylist wrapped me in a dye stained towel, asked me to "hold my ears" so she didn't burn me with the flat iron (Huh? She doesn't know how to do this without burning someone?), burned my forehead instead, shampooed me while the bevy of pretentious stylists bashed Groupon customers in front of me, not realizing I was one of them! When all was said and done (now 3 hours later), Bill wanted to cut my hair. When I glanced at the clock, he informed me he was in a rush too, and he would do a 10 minute cut now for a discount or later for full price. Gee, I passed on that gracious offer!
Long story short, this was NOT the high-end experience I have heard about, and these reviews stun me. I will NOT be back. The hair treatment came out well, but I'd rather be treated with some respect and not insulted at every turn than endure this again. Thanks, but no thanks.
