Lentils to DIE for!

It was my first time eating Indian food. My friends took me here for my birthday. I enjoyed every second of it. The lentils were SO good, and so was their curries. We tried tandoori too. That was SO yummy.
The server was gracious and gave us free dessert -sesame seed dumplings of some sort. They were these soft dumpling things with ground black sesame inside. Strange, but delicious! I would love to go again.
- Pros: Food & service

Best Dal Lentils
by firewall at Citysearch
Found a live raoch in our guest's rolled up napkin (to our chagrin) but that could happen anywhere... it provided authenticity to the cuisine. I've been to Agra India and endured similar, so they have gone out of their way at Haveli to recreate the experience.
All kidding aside, Haveli has the best Dal lentils I've had anywhere and their nan bread is freshly cooked and excellent. Everything I've had there is as good as I've had in the finest hotels in India.
- Pros: Great Food
- Cons: Used to be better ambience (much better) at the original Haveli location, but reason for going is the food, not the ambience.
