My worst experience

I experienced Negril Caribbean Café for the first time today and I was highly disappointed. I waited approximately 25 minutes for my meal after the server provided me with watered down lemonade. The Manager, who noticed that I was waiting, showed compassion as she provided me a beef patty on the house. The beef patty was the worst that I ever had. Although I would have preferred to leave, the manager stated that the food would arrive shortly and that I should wait. I wish I didn’t. The oxtail was watered down, the rice was very hard and the plantains looked as though they were refried 3 times in 3 days. I pray to God that I don’t become ill and I thank the Manager for her concern as she was very compassionate. I will not return to this establishment and I hope that you keep the manager and fire the chef!

Great Jamaican food!

We went to this place and had the oxtails, curry goat, and rice and red beans. Everything was so flavorful and delicious!! The food was fresh and the price was very reasonable. I'm def going back there.

• Pros: Awesome food, reasonable price, friendly staff
• Cons: not in the best part of town
