The Scene
Tucked into the first floor of Rich's-Macy's at Lenox Square, Ecotage serves as a peaceful respite from the mall's often frenetic environment. Contemporary furniture and a neutral blue/brown color scheme rest tired eyes, while a water wall adds a natural touch. Set apart from the nail and hair salon, the spa--with its own waiting lounge, locker room and changing area--is even more secluded.
The Services
Sure, it's owned by a department store chain, but there's nothing cold or corporate here. Windowless treatment rooms are soundproof; technicians are professional and well-trained. Ecotage provides all the spa basics--facials, hot stone massage, body wraps--and a bevy of spa packages like the Rain Forest Murmur, which offers all the spa's wet treatments including a hydrotherapy soak and moisturizing wrap along with a spa manicure and a light spa lunch. Customized facials are a treat for tired skin and live up to their billing, with expert estheticians gearing treatments to individual needs.

If you want the best then you have to go visit Moses! I've been to Van Michaels, I've been to Carter Barnes and I've been to James Madison, and Moses rocks them all. My husband actually looks forward to me getting my hair done, because when i get home he says its like seeing me for the first time all over again. Not only does he listen to exactly what i want, but he throws in some amazing suggestions to make the look complete. I feel beautiful ever time i leave the salon!

I like this salon, as it's simple and at a very convenient location. But the best thing in it is Amy! She is a great hair stylist without the attitude. She listened carefully to what I had to say about my hair, and approached the cut in a very careful, caring way - such a pleasant, relaxing experience after a series of hair stylist who didn't know what they were doing, but proceeded to cut my hair very boldly! The best part was when I came back home after my appontment with Amy: my husband loved the cut so much, he said Amy deserved a tip from him too! (and this coming from a man who normally not only cares little about appearance, but is also very frugal with money...) I'd highly recommend her.
