“This is one place we like to return to regularly - the food is excellent (all of the vegetarian options that we've tried have been delicious), the service has been faultless and its a relaxing and beutiful setting for a meal.”
“We also enjoy the patio for eating with friends or people watching.”
“This restaurant is a bit pricey for dinner but lunch prices are very reasonable.”
favourite local chinese. This is one place we like to return to regularly - the food is excellent (all of the vegetarian options that we've tried have been delicious), the service has been faultless and its a relaxing and beutiful setting for a meal. An all round winner.
light and tasty chinese food. I can't help it...I'm not a fan of typical chinese restaurants where everything tastes the same and feels like it's been fried and sitting 3 hours before I get it. Mu Lan tastes EXTREMELY fresh and tasty. Sure, they may not break all the rules of chinese cuisine with their menu or presentation, but it's dang good food. I strongly suggest the Chicken with Asparagus or the Bean Curd with Spicy Sauce.
Expensive but good food. Everytime I order, I smart to myself that this is expensive for Chinese food. Nonetheless, delivery occurs without any snafu's and the dinner is delictable. It's overpriced and I honestly think they should consider bringing down the price...I normally pay 20 bucks. However, I will say that it is a lot of food that usually makes for great date food to share.
Excellent service, lovely restaurant.... but the food was somewhat uninspired. If you don't mind being served the entire fish (head and all) try the flash-fried Hunan red snapper. It is worth the trip. Tangerine beef and sweet and sour chicken were lacking flavor and texture. The service was superb without being intrusive. I would go back just to be pampered by wait staff.
Delicious!. Chinese is not what you normally think of when you consider special occasion or impressive date places, but Mu Lan might change all that. It's not your run of the mill takeout chinese place but it has some amazing cuisine that will amaze even the pickiest palate. It seems like I'm ranting but the food here was great! We had the Pork Dumplings as an appetizer (small portions but delicious bites!), and the peppercorn shrimp and seafood curry. The shrimp were huge and perfectly cooked in both dishes. The seafood curry was full of a good variety in delectable red thai curry. The setting was beautiful and service amazing.
