DO NOT EAT THERE!. I am writing this review being a former kitchen employee at the Briarcliff location. The kitchen is in total disrepair, the refrigeration is totally shot on every machine. All the meats are iced down because the refrigeration runs about 65 to 70 degrees on the line, and sits in a pan of ice water all day. Burgers, chicken, fish, shrimp all sitting in blood water all day. It is a franchise location and privately owned, the GM, Moe is too cheap to make the proper repairs. Chicken and fish constantly spoil and employees were instructed to wash them off and serve the spoiled food, especially wings, food is kept two to three times longer than the expiration. The walk-in freezer runs about 50 degrees, and walk-in cooler about 60 degrees. It being a franchise, there are requirements for food portions in which employees where told to disregard, and only give 1/2 to 2/3 of the food portions in order to save food cost so the owners can make more money. I've seen food dropped on the floor, picked up and served constantly, illegal Mexicans work in the kitchen for 3 to 4 dollars an hour, some of which have very poor hygiene, I've seen top self liquor mixed with with well. I'm writing this in an attempt to show some people how substandard the cooking, food handling, and the entire place in general is. Management is nonexistent, as well as customer service, employee are treated like garbage and are in a constant power struggle just to hold a job, all so the owner and the GM can get the most amount of money possible out of that place, including violating State Health Code and Federal Labor Laws. I personally would not eat a thing out of that kitchen unless it came straight off the delivery truck and I made it personally.

Very Disappointing. I am extremely disappointed to write this review.

After waiting 2 hours for a food delivery placed with this location, we were surprised to recieve an order that we had not placed. Not only was the order wrong, but the food was cold and soggy. Once we placed the call to correct the situation, the manager/owner, Moe, proceeded to dispute the fact that the food delivered was not our order, and was neither apologetic nor proactive about correcting the error. He stated that in order to get the correct order out to us we would need to return the food delivered and wait at least 45 minutes because he was busy! The customer service was then taken to the lowest of lows when the delivery driver appeared at our corporate office demanding that we return the order and insisting that he had not taken the wrong order and that we were the ones mistaken, not he nor his manager. Although he agreed that management "sucks" his words not mine, he was more concerned with saving face, than client retention. With all that being said, DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY TO SUPPORT AN ESTABLISHMENT THAT HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NOR CONCERN FOR THE CUSTOMER! We will not make this mistake twice.

Great Service!. In a bar , you don't often get much of a service compared to normal restaurants..but we got more at Locos :-) the bartenders where great ...the place though sometimes can be crowded especially during peak times.. but all in all the experience was worth it .. see you soon guys !

Great Wings. I've been to a lot of Loco's locations in Atlanta, Athens and St. Simons. Of course thay all have the same menu but for what this location lacks in atmosphere it makes up in its food! My food has always been piping hot here and remarkably good for a "chain" neighborhood pub. The wings are definately a strong point. I always order mine extra crispy and rarely does a restaurant serve them as requested. These are always crispy as requested and very hot! The bar scene is pretty small, but usually a decent crowd. I think they usually have drink specials during UGA football games.

Best Bartenders in Atlanta. Atlanta, here is your Cheers. The bartenders here are absolutely the best in town. Come a few times on a slow night and before you know it, your drink will be waiting at the bar by the time you make it in from the front door. Loco's in Loehman's Plaza comes complete with a town drunk who tells stories of his last alien abduction, one pool table that forces you to meet the other patrons as you battle for ownership, and a group of regulars who have no shame in front of strangers. Good times, my friends, good times.
