Atlanta >Area At Gwinnett Ctr
“Best shows and free parking”
Best shows and free parking. I have seen several shows here. They are a terrific facility...everything is still new and shiny. They have hosted in the last year shows by Disney Stars, Barenaked Ladies, and the Wiggles. Coming up are The Who and the Gwinnett Gladiators (Their host arena.) The best part is that the parking for shows here is free, not $10-$20 like shows in downtown Atlanta. Usually traffic is not that bad in or out either.
Home to two sports team and host to rock stars, this arena is suburbia's place to catch the best shows..
This Atlanta arena, with over 13,000 seats for concerts and 11,000 for sports, is the largest in suburban Atlanta, but it's still dwarfed by the in-town digs at Philips Arena. Small isn't always bad--all seats in the arena have an unobstructed view of the stage, with the farthest seat only 270 feet away. This venue has private and rental luxury suites and club seats, but a limited number of food options.
Part of the Gwinnett County Cultural Center, the arena is home to the Arena Football team the Georgia Force and the Gwinnett Gladiators of the East Coast Hockey League. Along with sports teams, the Arena is attracting bigwigs in the talent industry with the headliners like Gwen Stefani and Styx. Ice shows, gymnastic championships and horse shows are just a few of the more than 130 events planned for the year.
