“The dining room was nice and dark, very romantic.”
“went for my birthday with my boyfriend, and while we didn't proclaim that it was my birthday, the waitress was attentive enough to notice and I got a FANTASTIC dessert on the house.”
“When ordering wine we ordered one bottle, when it came for the second bottle we were told they were out and the waiter attempted to up grade us to a much more expensive bottle, but suddenly when we ordered something less expensive they found 2 more bottle”
“Great food, bad service”
“The menu works great for Atkins and South Beach low carb fanatics; Tuna Tartare, Crab Cakes, Saffron Mussels all are wonderful.”
“It is mostly a college aged group, maybe a little too "cliquey", but other than that there is plenty of space to roam around (two floors) and a good place to go to have a good time.”
“The staff was not very helpful when we tried to book a large table.”
“found the menu quite unique and absolutely delicious, giving restaurants twice the price a solid run for their money.”
“However, service was definitely mediocre and our brunch took twice as long because the waitress was not attentive.”
A Staple in Atlanta.
OK... East Andrews has been a stable of Atlanta nightlife for sometime. The complex houses several bars so it isn't a problem to find something there for everyone. Stout is a great place to sit back and relax and 8 Traxx is great if you want to dance.
ALSO (and this is important)... If you go on a Friday night there is this cop that is normally there that my friends and I call Officer McDreamy. He is, by far, the hottest guy in the place.
Fun Place with Good People. Fun place to go. Atrium on the inside is pretty neat. Never have had a bad time. Always something interesting to see.
Great place to go out and see music in Buckhead.. I'll have to admit, I've never eaten at East Andrews, but if you are looking for a great scene in Buckhead with several bars and a couple of different stages for live music, this is it. In the summer it's great because it has a wide open central-atrium area that is basically outside.
Thursday nights.
My friend and I only go on Thursday nights. For the most part, it's been lovely. Bartenders are awesome, nice, and somewhat skilled. $2 vodka drinks rocked until they took it away (hence the 4 stars). Music played- large mix. They don't just play 80s music on Thurs nights.
Overall- great crowd, attractive people, nice laid-back atmosphere.
Not a club type in the Bar- so don't expect a club!
Great customer service. I was served and treated with the utmost of Southern Hospitality. Absolute fun and fairly inexpensive for the food, brevages and great service I recieved. Continued success, job well done.
Best Fillet, Best Brunch. I know atmosphere matters when you go out, but the review should incude details about services rendered. I don't care about those around me, the wannabes, the too cools, all I know is that service and food were excellent for a party of five on a busy Friday. Seated within 5 minutes, food on the table less than 10 minutes after that. My fillet, perfect and finished my girlfriend's crabcakes and dessert. Less than 80 dollars for our meal. Service was excellent and eye candy even better. Returned for a fabulous Sunday brunch that was better than the buffet at the Belligiao in Vegas. Thnak's EA.
food is great. First time at East Andrews for a girl from TX....Friends b'day pre drink party...fantastic....ya a bit on the stuffed shirt yuppy side but other than that it was fun....people there were friendly maybe a bit to friendly but it worth the laughs and weird looks...great time had by all of us...you guys rock....
Good Atmosphere. East Andrews is a good place to mingle. It is mostly a college aged group, maybe a little too "cliquey", but other than that there is plenty of space to roam around (two floors) and a good place to go to have a good time. I dont necessarily like the stuffy crowd, but I do like the place, and I do go on occassion.
I'm 50/50 on this one....
Lots of pros and cons for this bar. If you plan on going, go with a big group. If not, you will notice how everybody clings to their own. I guess you can say this is a snobby bar. This is not the type of bar you would go to meet lots of new atl people. BUT, this bar is very trendy and you can find different things happening in all the different rooms that it provides. The courtyard which feels like youre in Miami, downstairs band is usually very good, the porch, the lounge area which is non smoking, and also an upstairs. The upstairs includes a band every weekend as well as a cover charge. I have been disappointed the past several times due to their crappy selection on bands up there. Last saturday was a country cover band that I paid $10 to see. :-/ What?? REFUND PLEASE!
You got about a 50/50 chance on enjoying this bar... Remember that.
