Unique environment and very cool bar!. I live in the neighborhood and am a big fan of Endenu. The environment is one of the coolest in Atlanta and I love the fact that is is never overcrowded. (Though I wonder why, b/c I've never had a bad experience. Maybe they need better marketing!) If you are downtown and are looking for a nice place to have lunch/dinner or drinks and want to stay out of the overcrowded CNN crowd, I highly recommend Endenu. (The waterfall bar really is one of the coolest bar setups I've ever seen!) My only recommendation would be that they pave their parking lot.

A Stream Runs Through IT. we ate at Endenu because of your reviews and were thrilled with the experience. We were in for a college bowl and the area around the georgia dome was mobbed, this was an escape. A waterfall and stream, hand made by the owners, runs through the Bar!! This restuarand is in easy walking distance from the downtown arenas and aquarium. We ordered drinks, four dishes, salads and appetizers- All were great and the staff could not do enough for us.

nice place, almost there.... I went to Endenu with my boyfriend for dinner on a Friday night and we were the only people there. It was romantic and the service was great but because this is such a new place it was empty. If you are looking for ambiance, this is not the place. On the other hand, the food was great! We both had chicken pesto. I look forward to going back when there are more people there.

Very Disappointed. After reading all of the reviews, I was exited to try Endenu before a show at Philips. The restaurant was completely empty except for my husband and me, the appetizers were medicore at best, and, to top it off, neither entree that my husband and I ordered were available (the highly recommended filet and salmon). We were told that there was no way the entrees could be ready in a reasonable amount of time. Ridiculous!

Underwhelmed. We were very excited to try this new spot after reading the previous Citysearch reviews; unfortunately we left disappointed. Physically, it is a very attractive restaurant in a 'transitional' part of town; however, the chairs (as mentioned in prior reviews) are quite uncomfortable. Crab ravioli and spinach/feta spring roll appetizers were fair (small portions and average tasting). The caesar salad was very impressive looking, but the taste was off. Grouper was nicely flavored but overcooked. Beef tenderloin was gamy and doused in a sauce containing too much soy sauce. Didn't venture into dessert. Maybe we just hit it on an off night, or maybe not.

Like no other. I went there for the first time today and found the decor refreshing, service attentive, and food delightful! The crab cakes are a must!

Very glad I tried Endenu. The food and atmosphere were great (though the chairs are very uncomfortable). I had trouble choosing among the entrees because they all sounded so good. If all the entrees are prepared as well as the grouper I finally decided upon, any of them would have been a good choice. I cannot wait to go back and try something else. I really hope that people find their way to Endenu and that it does as well as it deserves to.

Endenu - A Downtown Jewel. Endenu is a venue that is long overdue for the Atlanta scene. The food is excellent! The service - highly attentive. The decor - relaxed and earthy. A perfect place to meet for drinks and engage in a lounge scene as it was meant to be - not for your Midtown/Buckhead regulars! If you haven't been yet, wait no more.

A rough gem..... Looking for good food close to the downtown arts? Give these guys a try before your next visit to Phillips, the Rialto or the Tabernacle. Of the three appetizers and four entrees our group tried, only one dish was a disappointment- the pesto chicken with penne. The salmon's orange flavor was subtle and the texture perfect. The leeks topping the grouper were delightfully crisp. The beef medallions were yummy. Wine is list is small but should cover most palates. Bar space is well done with rock work and unusual lighting overhead. The owners' efforts to create a cool space in an old building really show. Check them out for live jazz nights and other artisitc happenings ("the spoken word"). Big space out back bodes well for parties in the spring. All the staff are friendly and seem determined to please you. Try 'em soon before the word gets out!
