Gem in Atlantic Station. I try to stop by K-la every couple of months to do my shopping and every single time I've ever visited, I've left the store with at least one item in my shopping bag. Some of my most favorite pieces have come from K-la. Their selection is chic, sexy, and fashion forward. They cater to everyone with tastes ranging from edgy eclectic to conservative. Great job guys!
Distinctive boutique sizzles with hot, fashion-forward looks from south of the equator..
The Scene
Owned by sisters Keila and Juliana Mesquita, K-la definitely has the pulse of what Atlanta's insatiably hip fashionistas crave: trendy, exclusive, cutting-edge clothes with attitude. This boutique at the Forum is sleek and modern and offers two main wall racks of deliciously flamboyant clothes. Since only a handful of each piece is stocked, you won't see your sassy outfit on another glam girl while out on the town.
The Goods
Twenty percent of the unusual merchandise at K-la comes from Brazilian designers: Tufi Duek, Fause Haten, Patachou, Maria Bonita Xtra, Zoomp and the top-selling Iodice. This is the place to score a flirty party dress in silk or chiffon that will definitely turn heads. Electric-colored tops, funky print skirts and Blue Cult jeans are also big hits. Prices are in line with what you'd expect to pay for this "Where did you get that?" kind of style.
