An eclectic collection of ladies shoes--both sassy and sensible.. The Scene
Bright purple walls, vividly colored couches and local artwork make this store hard to pass, even though the spread-out inventory initially looks scant. Mirrors set in large, windowpane fixtures help you see the shoes from every angle as you browse the casual loafers and high-power heels.

The Goods
High-fashion shoes for average department store prices. The store's more popular styles are functional but funky, and you'll find comfortable mock stilettos and going-out boots. Cynthia Rowley, Zoom, David Aaron, Two Lips, SXS Collection, M.O.D. and Vis a Vie designs range in price from steals to high end. The merchandise is geared to the late 20s, early 30s crowd, but high schoolers and grandmothers aren't shy about stopping in.

Great Find. My friends and I accidentally found this shoe store last week and were really surprised by the shoes, and good prices. I thought it would be really pricey, but most things were within my range. The service was great, I think it is family owned... I will definetly go back to check out their spring stuff.

Awesome shop!. I totally don't understand the last review!! Pushy, these were the sweetest sales people I've ever encountered!! So laid back. Also, completely funky shoes, everything was really easy to see, and great quality, unlike some off price stores!

Also, there is free parking in the deck around the corner, you just have to ask. But, they don't have men's shoes so maybe that is why Bill didn't find anything for him!!

Funky footwear!. I recently saw a small ad for this shoe store in the AJC and decided to check it out. Who knew that Decatur had a shoe store? Very cute selection of boutique shoes, not a huge department store variety, but it looked like each one was picked special by the buyer. Some familiar names, some new to me, but the quality of all looked great. Prices were better than department stores, decor and service were fantastic. I bought two pairs of boots and a funky beaded handbag.

shopper's high!. So cute and very unique! I love being able to buy something of great quality, especially shoes, and know that I won't see everyone leaving the mall with the exact same thing. The reasonable prices and personal service was a major plus, not to mention that the location is really convient to do other shopping. Any shoe lover must check this store out.

Unique and Affordable!!. Never thought I would find Cynthia Rowley shoes in Decatur!! Great new shoe store near Java Monkey with really unique shoes. I was happy I didn't see the old standards like at the mall or warehouse stores. Even thought the interior was super cute and boutique-ish the prices were totally reasonable. My new favorite shoe store!

SASSY, SEXY SHOES!!!. I recently discovered this hippest, chicest shoe store during my last visit to Atlanta, in downtiwn Decatur. I immediately felt like I was in Nolita/Soho in New York (where I live)-the shoes are all beautiful, well made and amazingly affordable (unlike new york!). I bought 2 pairs of great boots (in brown & black), a pair of super-sexy black lace mules for evening (by Cythina Rowley!)..I have already had people stop and ask me where I got them; all for the price of one pair of shoes up in NYC! The service also had none of the 'attitude' of NY boutiques-helpful, not pushy, knowledgable and fun. The selection of handbags, jewelry and accessories were also totally hip and very 'New York'-I can't wait for my next trip to Atlanta, Carpe le Scarpe is my new favorite store!!!
