It is the one..
Its one of the best restaurant in Atlanta .
first of all, the meals tastes good and the service is also good.
I go there nearly every week.
The best Mediterraneanin ATLANTA, fresh, great prices.....
Such fresh, tasty, great food, great prices, great service
The hommos is so good. Baba is smoky, not over powerful, just right. I do not know what they do to those white beans, but eat them, eat alot and eat them with the great chardonnay
I love the lamb with the greek salad..The dressing is so fresh and so light, but loaded with taste.
Dunk the lamb in the greek dressing and the cucumber sauce and then drink the merlot....
I love the very reasonable wine and food prices. Their wines are much more reasonable than most restaurants and I eat out alot. I went there tonight and had to write and next, I will ahve the chicken and rice with some pinot grigio...The wines are so cheap for Midtown...
Rockining Hummus and Lamb.
The reviews all sounded good, except for one, which is obvious someone wants to pick a bone with John
John, don't know you dude, but rock on, cause all this food is so good.Every waiter has one bad day, so move on, people. I have now been to this place 8 times. I go 2 times a week and I have never been unhappy. Service always good, lowkey and I have been there when the place is packed and they are always warm and fuzzy. I have been with a large group and it is common practice in all places I go to add a standard tip for large group. In fact most places add more, and we appreciate not having to get out our calculators to do math. Lunch and dinner with a group is fun AND VERY EASY ON THE WALLET
I have tried the lamb, hummus, gyros, grape leaves, baklava is a must every trip for my sweet tooth and my gal pal loves the baklava, so I always get her one to eat now and two to go.. the lasagna and mousaka are both very good, as well as the pastas. Hey dude with the bone to pick with John, hummus and antipastos are supposed to be cold, and they rocked. Love the pesto..The last trip I ordered rosemary chicken and that spice is so out of this world. I had it with some kind of white beans and garlic, forget the name, but the key is the garlic and it is so perfect with chicken . I wash it all down with Stella and the world is so ok and much better off with Olive Bistro
Cold food, poor service and tip padding on large party ruined our experience. Try the Antipasto...excellent. The Hummus...very good. Nice lamb but the rest is mediocre. John, the waiter was surly and unconcerned about cold food, forgotten orders and overcharging the customer. Check your bill carefully. Those handwritten bills can hide overcharges and bill padding and the waiter is not happy to make corrections. Too bad! We went there after we read the rave reviews in this listing service. When asked for a recommendation for the Moussaka and Lasagna, the waiter candidly stated "After serving the stuff for more than six years, I really can't stand either." Great marketing, right?
It all works at Olive Bistro. What a cute bistro, neighborhood find. Went after reading Citysearch winners.
I tried some others, but in the area of great Mediterranean, this is it. I tried on my husband's birthday, Kyma, which is also very, very good, but Kyma is of course much more expensive and I reserve it for the big nights, but for three x a week, lunch, dinner, Olive Bistro is the king of kings in Mediterranean food in this city, state, outside NYC.The tapenade is so tasty on pita. Love the nutty, warm flavor of the hummus and the roasted baba ganoughe . Also had a grape leave platter and those tasty morsels are true heaven. What is in that rice, I must find out. I never had such crunchy, warm falafel. Tucked into the pita pockets, the falafel is perfect with the sauce and I always add some parsley and feta.. They never miss a beat, food, service, they are together and it is heaven.
Awesome, awesome Mediterranean Food.
We loved it all. I took a group, five of us, for girl's night out. A friend told me about it.
Easy location, good parking. That was a plus up front due to horrible Virg Hi parking, and it made it easy, no parking fees.
We started with hummus, olives, feta, eggplant and wine.. Good wines to go with the food and very good wine prices. We were fighting over who got the last of the eggplant and we had to order more hummus. What is the hummus secret? It is so light, fluffy, and so fresh. I love the nutty taste, and wow, the eggplant is so tender. No greasy, oily taste .. Next came lamb, grape leaves, chicken, so tender, it fell off the fork. We had so much food, but we ended it with a great reisiling.. It was not too sweet, just right with the tasty, baklava. Great night out with the girls and very well priced.
We are now regulars.. Save us a table every Thur night.
Tried Olive Bistro per my co- worker. Do not always agree with my co- worker at work, but she knows food and this place is top of line when it comes to Mediterranean..
Very fresh, tender, right spice in the lamb kabobs. The hommos is very fresh, and fluffy. I hate the stuff I have tried from the grocery and also other restaurants. The other hommos I have tried elsewhere does not hold a candle to this place, this hommos is perfect. I also liked the eggplant appetizer and my wife liked
the tapenade appetizer. We really liked going on Monday night because we had half off wine bottles. This is a very clean, cute, spot that is friendly and has great food at very modest prices. I am not looking for fancy, plenty of overpriced, bad food, fancy places in Atlanta. This place is great. My wife and I have a very good time, and find a corner or outside table if it is not too hot outside, and order a round of appetizers and a bottle of wine, then move onto lamb. We find it perfect for a casual, date, and are not looking for the overpriced places. We eat good food and walk away with money in our pocket. In today's enviroment, we find that very comforting.
Good no frills Mediterranean. The place is pretty small and in a strip mall (not a date spot), but the food is pretty good, especially if you are just in the mood for good eats without a lot of other hype. I would recommend the eggplant dishes or the falafel.
Awesome Food, Service.
I tried so many things and loved it all. Started with olive tapenade and it has the right spice, great flavor
The chicken gyros are so fresh and there is great taste and the chicken is very moist. I hate dry chicken and this stuff is so good. The caesar salad is one of the best in this city. Dressing is right on, not too lemony and not too much vinegar which is what I usually find. Good quality shaved parmesan. The hommos is by far the best around and so is the falafel. It has great flavor and is always fresh. Awesome lamb and whatever is in that rice is great. I go several times a week and always take friends and they try different things and we always have a good experience
Olive Bistro. You have the right stuff !.
I am a dedicated ethnic food diner. My favs are sushi, true Italian, true Mexican and true Greek, Mediterranean. This is it for true Mediterranean. Everything I have tried in 6 visits in the last 2 weeks has always been good. A friend turned me on right before the end of June and I cannot stop eating. The good news is Mediterranean food is so good for you and I love this stuff.
I tried, eggplant, hummus, grape leaves, falafel, gyros, lamb, baba ganoji, greek salad, baklava and good wine
Not one complaint. Outstanding regionally correct food, well spiced, great service and great prices.
