Best Thai In Town. I looove thai food & have been to numerous thai restaurants. Rice tops them all...hands down. The atmosphere is amazing. The restaurant is located in a cute historic house in downtown Roswell. The walls are decorated with warm colors & colorful artwork. The food is delicious & the presentation of the food is beautiful as well. My favorite is the shrimp with red curry sauce. Service is impeccable. You've gotta check out Rice!
awesome, fresh food. We love Rice and go there often. Great service, cool atmosphere and amazingly fresh Thai food.
Amazing. I LOVE it! Everything about this place is amazing! I just moved here, this was the first restaurant I went to and I doubt I'll have a better experience anywhere else. The food is fresh and really really really delicious, the atmosphere is cute, quaint, and artsy, and the staff was friendly. For an ultimate experience get a a table outside on their front porch. (You may need a reservation)
Great fresh food. The owner, according to their website, grows many of the veggies served. If so, it shows. The food is really really good and fresh. It's not like any Thai, familar but seems to be more like "home cooking" than Americanized versions of food. The red curry makes my mouth water thinking about it. Parking is a pain, the seating is really weird - even with a reservation and empty tables they may not have a seat...or you have to sit in a really awkard place or on top of other patrons. The accoustics are bad meaning its very loud. But the food...you'll forgive them a lot for the food.
Good Thai Food!. Thai Rice has great food, and good service. Seating is a little cramped inside. Parking is a little sparse. Over all great experience. Clean restaurant. Good atmosphere.
Truly delicious and savory food, perfect atmosphere. A little gem of a restaurant, with the option of sitting inside the cozy and artistically decorated rooms, or the pleasant outdoor area. The Tom Yum shrimp soup was a delicious and savory way to start the meal, and I thoroughly enjoyed the Pad Thai noodle stir-fry for dinner, it had the perfect balance of heat and flavor. The service was flawless. Make sure you take a look at the art on the walls, the work is amazing and unique. Rice is my new favorite Thai place.
fresh, homemade food.
The owner grows his own veggies and it shows. The food is really fresh and balanced and good. The beef is so tender - in most thai or chinese places, any beef dish is chewy like leather. You can cut the beef here with a fork. Every dish is light and filling at the same time. The place can be a little too loud due to the fact it's a small old house, it's not a place for a romantic dinner but it's great for a nice night out when you want good food and its still cozy enough to have a nice date. Its Thai home cooking. The art on the walls is amazing.
Make reservations on Friday or Saturday and be ready to walk a short walk for parking, as the area is a mixed neighborhood and parking is limited.
REALLY Horrible Service & Not So Terrific Food.
We had a reservation and were quickly swept to our table, but we sat there for 30 minutes for our waitress to stop by our table. This is COMPLETELY unacceptable. When our dinner arrived, it was ONE MEAL SHORT! So there we were, a party of four, with 3 of our meals getting cold! There was no apology made.
Two of our party ordered the "Grouper" which was questionable grouper at that. We all believed it to be Tilapia. I ordered "jumbo shrimp" and scallops. Well...I don't know what their definition of jumbo is because they most certainly were small shrimp - medium would be a stretch. All our meals were a complete disappointment.
Bottom line is, this is a hyped up, over priced, extremely bad serviced restaurant with mediocre food. I will not be returning nor would I suggest it to my family or friends.
Decent thai food. Rice Thai has a small menu but the food is great and pleases the palate. I had the pad thai which was good and would love to try the curries next. The service is very good and the price tends to be on the higher side.
Everything was Great....Words can not express how great this place is. My newly financee and I went here on a special romantic weekend in atlanta. This was his first time trying Thai food and our waiter Jeff made the food selection so fun. My financee loved it and so did I. We had the basil rolls which were bursting with flavor. I had the green curry and my financee had the panang chicken...both of them tasted so mouth watering. We both also had dessert of ice and sweet rice. The restaurant is so romantic and breath-taking. On top of everything the prices are mind blowing...our entire meal with the basil rolls, 2 meals and 2 desserts was less than 40 dollars
