Awful Food!. Just moved into the area and thought that Tijuana Joes would be a good local. The bar, patio and drinks are great but the food is awful. Probably the worst Mexican I can remember. The Carne Asada was inedible. Will go there for drinks but not to eat.

Best neighborhood joint, hands down!.
TJ's is our favorite neighborhood restaurant - we go at least once a week. They have, by far, the best frozen margaritas I've ever had. Even better than in Mexico. Anywhere I go, anytime I order a margarita, I always compare it to TJ's.
The food is great too. The service is always top notch. I'll cry the day we have to move from Atlanta just because of leaving Tijuana Joe's.

A handful of locations outside the perimeter adds south-of-the-border flavor to the 'burbs. Tijuana Joe's sizeable menu features more than just a taste of Mexico. You'll find the basics like nachos, quesadillas, tacos, enchiladas and burritos. But there's also more exotic specialties like stuffed chile poblanos and deep fried chimichangas. A large patio makes a nice backdrop for sipping margaritas, which come in a variety of sizes and flavors.
