Crowds of couples, teenagers and parents with toddlers press up against the long refrigerated display case at this dessert chain, where a variety of ice creams, frozen yogurts and sorbets are made in-store daily. Customers choose flavors like sweet cream, cake batter or banana, add mix-ins--ranging from candy bar chunks and Gummi bears to hot fudge and peanut butter--then servers mash it all together on a frozen slab of granite.

Found By Accident. Absolutely the best ice cream I have ever tasted. Home made fresh in the store everyday, with the wide variety of REAL toppings (or fillers) what more could you seek from an Icecream shop. The service is outstanding, and commical (my daughter loves to hear the crew to their signature "thank you" when funds are inserted in the tio jar. Definately beats your chain of "coporate" low quality ice cream organizations.

Blown Away!. This is the best ice cream ever! No more of the same old boring flavors. The possibilities are unlimited! Not to mention, while it might be a little bit more pricey, whereas MOST ice cream parlors give you tiny scoops for your cash, Cold Stone packs your cup in heaps and mounds! Not to mention the extremely rich and creamy flavor of all their ultra-fresh base flavors!

Have it your way. The only limitations here are your own imagination. You pick the ice cream base and the mix-ins create an endless array of flavors. The ice cream, waffle cones are fresh baked. The lines may be long but it is worth the wait. The only draw back is the limited parking.

Great. I've only had Cold Stone Creamery in Pasadena, CA, but it was wonderful. Worth the #1 rating.

DIY. The icecream itself is nothing special. The only novelty from Cold Stone is the fact that they "mix" (if you call it that) it in front of you. But your taste buds and your wallet would be better off just buying a gallon of Breyer's and your favorite candy.

Cold Stone is stone cold!.
No atmosphere, same ice cream as everyone else.
How do you even compare to the atmosphere at Inman Park Jake's? Not even close.
