Warning: You may get addicted!. I grew up in Pittsburgh, so when my boyfriend (a GA native) told me I needed to try a "slaw Dog" from the Varsity I was totally grossed out, but I ended up loving them! The same thing happened when he took me to Mike's for a Chicago dog. I'm not a picky eater at all, but I just didn't think I would like all that stuff on a hot dog. I was SOOOO wrong. They're amazing! They have really good slaw dogs too and these things called "Pizza Puffs." They're hard to describe so you'll just have to trust me and try one. We recently moved less than a mile from Mike's and I'm scared I'm going to gain 10lbs in hot dog weight :) The service is always really friendly and the atmosphere is neat with all of the Chicago and hot dog memorabillia. Also, they have WiFi so its a great place to grab lunch by yourself and get some work done. I really can't say enough great things about Mike's! Go see for yourself!

Best dogs in Atlanta. Tops in Atlanta. Very authentic Excellent Italian Beef. Perfect atmosphere The polish maxwell is just the way it should be. And the store has a cart delivery program for the office buildings. They are tabletop carts, and work good for office parties of 25ppl to 250 ppl.

authentic. The only difference between Mike's hot dog and a hot dog joint in Chicago is the location. Walking thru the doors at mike's is like leaving Atlanta and being transported back to Chicago with the aroma and visual effects to add to a wonderful experience. Believe me being from CHI-TOWN I know a great hot dog and hot dog joint. The best compliment I can pay Mike's is to say they are truly authentic right down to the popi seeds on the bun, celery salt and pepers it doesn't get much better.
