This is a terrible place and the staff there is very racist. It has extremely poor customer service. Just around the thanksgiving holidays I found this gym on Roswell, RD Sandy Springs and decided I wanted to sign up because it's really close to my home and I could pay month-to-month and didn't have to sign a 12 month contract. Anyway, I called and spoke with a guy on 11/15 and then printed off a 7 day pass online from the website. Later that day, I went back and used the 7 day pass for the first time and then used it two additional times, 11/17 and 11/18. I skipped a few days and went back in on 11/24 by which time the pass had expired, so I paid $5 to take a class that night. I did not return to the gym again until 11/29 at which time I was to meet with the guy I had spoken with over the phone initially, he was going to go ahead and take care of the paperwork to register me for the month-to-month agreement. As we were about to complete the agreement paperwork and was sitting there chatting a bit, he voluntarily decided to issue me another 7 day pass (for whatever reason I don't know, I assume it was because I had only used the first pass for only 3 days). We agreed that after it expired I’d complete the paperwork then. So On 11/30, I went back into the gym to use the pass the guy had issued me the day before as I was signing in on the log in sheet at the front desk, I was stopped at the front desk by another guy, a guy I had seen there many times on my previous visits. He proceeded to accuse me of changing my name multiple times in order to obtain passes, he stated without any evidence that I had had multiple prior passes and now I wanted to use another pass. Bear in mind that the very first time I had EVER visited Cosmos Fitness Gym was on 11/15. As he was accusing me the guy who had given me the pass walked up so I immediately turned to him and said do you hear what this guy is saying this is not true, go ahead defend me he is disrespecting me and basically accusing me of cheating and lying to get a 7 day pass. Meanwhile the guy accusing me spoke up and said this is my brother, in other words he was telling me it didn’t matter his brother would agree with him no matter what. Charming People… The guy that gave me a pass without me asking for it basically just stood there and said absolutely nothing to defend me, all he said was just go ahead and work out if you want. I said, no I can't let this go I’m extremely upset you heard what he is saying and how he is disrespecting me. I did not ask for a second pass and I have never had multiple passes prior to this one nor have I ever used any other names to come to your gym to obtain any passes. He then turned on me just as his brother did and said, well you got a second pass and I shouldn’t have given it to you, I said did I ask you for it? I came in to sign up after the first and only pass I had had expired and you voluntarily gave me the pass.

Bottom line, this is a mediocre gym by any standards; I only decided to go there because it was extremely close to my home otherwise I would never go there. Needless to say I felt disrespected, violated, and very hurt to be spoken to in such as nasty manner by a gym clerk. To be lied on and not even defended by the person who knew the truth was even more appalling, they are both nasty Racist men. I gave them back their pass told them they were racist Fs and I left. I would never recommend that place to my worst enemy. I couldn't believe what was happening to me was actually happening. With all the gyms around, I had to go and choose that one and put myself in a situation to be confronted by two racist white men at a mediocre gym.

All the equipment I need!. Cosmos Fitness has the abdominal crunch machine that I've been looking for. Also I love the treadmills and being able to watch the tv channel I want while I walk. The trainers are also great and will sometimes offer tips to those nearby while they work with their client.

This gym is awesome. I love the classes, its convenient, they have a friendly staff and tanning beds! Only downside is they dont have daycare.

Super affordable! Be sure to check out the free classes offered. Equipment is in good condition and gym is kept tidy. Happy that I joined.

Great Workout!. I recently moved into the area, and do not care for the corporate gym experience. I do not exaggerate in saying that Cosmos is the best "neighborhood gym" I have experienced in 20 years. I have belonged to the gym for a while now and have had an excellent experience every time I have gone. It carries the amenities, and the quantity and quality of equipment that anyone would need. Both the staff and clientele are friendly and respectful. It is extremely clean and well maintained. I strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking into a new a/o better gym environment.

GREAT GYM. I have been a member since 2003 better than other Fitness Centers Cosmo provides a fun, clean, non-intimidating alternative the ideal atmosphere to get you in shape regardless of your fitness level. Classes guided by experts in their respected disciplines helping you beyond what you believed to be your limit. There is weight area and one stop shop for your health and fitness needs you will not go anywhere else.

User review by rachelg7. I have been with Cosmos gym for three years now. The facility is always CLEAN and the air is very fresh. Some gyms, like LA Fitness have humid air and machines covered in sweat. The bast ab macine ever is there and i get tons of compliments on my fitness. I love Cosmos and could not imagine ever leaving.
