No. Just no..
Why isn't negative 5 stars an option???
I called and made an appointment, told the receptionist exactly what I needed (inserts because mine were 4 years old) and what insurance company I had. Went in for the appointment, sat 45 minutes in a frigid little room waiting for the "doctor" who came in and immediately gave me a song and dance about how expensive the inserts are (I know this) and that they may or may not be able to do them there depending on what the insurance company would or would not pay. So I could put my shoes back on (he never even examined my feet at all) and his receptionist would call me later in the day to let me know what if anything the insurance company would pay and then I could come back again! Given that I was assured that yes they did take my insurance (duh, I asked that when I called) you'd think they would already know this.
So for 5 minutes of his time, my insurance company will be billed $150, I had a $15 co-pay, and had to pay the thieves downstairs $3 for "valet parking".
Avoid like the plague, unless you just like giving your and your insurance company's money away. It's because of doctors like THIS is the reason that our insurance goes up EVERY.SINGLE.YEAR.
Great job Dr. Holvick! You're a credit to the medical profession.
Best podiatrist in Buckhead!.
Dr. Holvick fitted me for orthotics which enabled me to complete the Atlanta Breast Cancer 3-Day walk which is a 60-mile walk over a three-day period. I"m not sure that I could have made it without his help!
His staff is THE BEST! I am always seen on time, treated courteously and with respect. His office has a very friendly atmosphere and I feel that each person in the office is genuinely interested in me as a person, not just a patient.
I have recommended several of my co-workers to him, and they have all been pleased with his care.
Not a very positive experience for me. Dr. Holvick was rather brisk with me, "diagnosed" my issue in a few seconds, and after his suggestion of orthotics for $400 and physical therapy for 4 weeks didn't offer any relief, threw up his hands and said he didn't know what else to do and sent me back to my primary care doctor. (The problem was numb toes in both feet and pain when walking on balls of both feet.) I will say he *did* give me a full refind on the orthotics, and I didn't have to ask for it.
