In Short – For women who love to travel, or who simply prefer a worldly look, Chico's offers fashions inspired by the cultures of Africa, Japan and South America. Much of the store-exclusive clothing line consists of embroidered tank tops, linen jackets, washable silk blouses, tailored pants and button-down tops. Most items are lightweight and loose-fitting. Many feature elastic waistbands. Beaded earrings and bracelets complete that just-off-safari look.

Right in Peachtree Battle Shopping Center, is an outpost of Chico's. You don't have to fight that mall traffic, and can just park infront of the store. Buckhead Betty's shop here all the time. The styles are up to the minute, and won't brake the bank. Accessories are a strong point. And one of the all-time troupers, Barbara Glendenny, works the flloor here, putting the looks together. Let her put one for you.

Clothes that Do It All

Chico's carries the best clothing that ever happened for women over 35. Most stylish clothes don't work for us any more, because they don't fit. Chico's clothing is stylish, even elegant, and yet designed to fit comfortably (very comfortably!) those of us whose figures aren't what we used to be. And most elegant clothing costs too much to keep up, because it is constantly going to the dry cleaner. Chico's clothing is machine washable. And, it comes out of the washer with not a wrinkle. Forget irons. It never wrinkles, so it makes great clothes for travel. Also, Chico's shops are small, and the clerks are helpful and attentive, so shopping there is actually fun. The prices aren't cheap, but for what you get, it is very reasonable.
