best sushi i have ever eaten. absolutely the best sushi i have had, and iv'e been to a lot of places. the fish is always so fresh. i love that the owner of this restaurant is always (and i mean always) the one behind the counter making the food. you can be assured the quality is always top notch. i love the rolls, too. the are huge and are quite a mouthful. if you are looking for fantastic, friendly service, and the best sushi - go to sushi mania!
Delish and Delightful. I live behind the shopping center, and can't believe it took a year for me to dine at Sushi Mania. Avoid crowds and try this place! Best sushi I have ever had. I got the Chirashi: Chef's choice of fresh seafood on sticky rice. The salad that came before had a tasty dressing and the miso was perfection. The fresh fish was plentiful, and probably enough for two. Love this place, and would walk even further than three blocks to get another serving of their sweet, sweet fish.
Good food, nice atmosphere.
My friends, husband and I go here often. The food is almost always good and the service is friendly.
Prices are very reasonable for fresh sushi!
Urbanspoon let down2. Sorry about the typo's (stay away from the salmon skin roll) also spiced tuna had consistancy of cold custard
Urbanspoon let down. I eat sushi once a week. I love it. Me and two of my friends were wonder where to eat today. We decided to use the urbanspoon app on the iPhone. The reviews on this site were not right. The rolls were loose and fell apart as they were picked up. The spiced tuna has a fish like mush that the consistancy cold custard slopped on top of the roll. What ever you do stay away from the salman skill rolls. Dry and gross. Each of us paid about 32 bucks. Not really worth the price. One of the chefs seem to be wet behind the ears. Maybe still learning the art. There was just nothing about this tiny place that justified the price.
Best Sushi in Atlanta. Sushi Mania is the best sushi in Atlanta. It is owned by a husband and wife team, who learn your names and make you feel special. The sushi is always consistant and fresh. I love the way it is presented on it's plate, Kenny really takes the time to attract you with first your eyes. The hotnight roll is to die for, so is the Alaskan. Service can be slow from time to time, but enjoy the company you are with and get another sake, relax.
Not satisfying.
This restaurant has since changed its name to Sushi Mania. I made a reservation for 8. A friend and I arrived a little later than the rest and when we had gotten there, the server took our drink orders but never gave it to us. We had to remind the server three times during our meal before she finally gave us our waters. Another friend ordered the Cajun Tuna with Garlic and didn't get it until the end of our meal. Service was slow and the dishes were pricey. The dinner menu didn't offer very many options but you could order individual sushi for $4.50 for 2 pieces. Prices on the menu ranged from about $1.95 for miso soup to about $18 for a dinner plate combo.
The food wasn't bad but the service was slow and it was expensive. It was also a small restaurant that probably seats no more than 35-40 people. Not very good for large groups. The parking is pretty good since it's located in a plaza. However, it's located next to a Kroger so if it's a night where people usually go grocery shopping, patrons may have to do a little walking.
Excellent sushi. I agree with everything the editorial has to say. A minor correction is that they are open for lunch weekdays, not just Friday.
Low budget, High Quality Japanese. The first time I visited Harada, I was just searching for some good Japanese food at a low price, with not just sushi, but the full hibachi experience. Citysearch took me here. Although there is no flashy chef waving knives around in front of your face... There is wonderful food. I had never had sushi before I came here. I ordered one of their dinner boxes pending reading the citysearch review and it was heavenly. Ever since, Harada has been my all time favorite place for Japanese food in Atlanta. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want good food and fast service at an extremely low price. (and if you're a newcomer to authentic Japanese, you should definitely try the dinner or lunch boxes)
Great for lunch!. Went here for lunch last week for sushi. It was wonderful. Had one with the bbq eel and was very impressed. It was my first time trying eel. They also have a wonderful crunchee shrimp roll. It wasnt crowded. We got right in and the service was attentive.
