Parents Beware. This Dr. is very old fashioned and stuck in his ways. He does not know what current policies are and what needs to be done to assist parents in providing today's care to our kids. His staff is constantly reminding him where he left something or saying, remember dr. Thomas you did that or said this." They treat him like he is the child, Time to move on when your mind is slipping like that and you should not put our kids in the path of your forgetfulness. He tends to joke more with the kids then to listen to my concerns and he has a very bad temper, he like night and day. One minutes he is laughing and smiling the next he is yelling on the phone. There is no privacy in the office you can hear the conversation in the next room and the waiting room is not kept and the waits have always been loooong. He does practice alone and squeezes everyone in what appears to be one appointment. Wait time 1-2 hours!

great doctor. Reading the previous review of Dr. Thomas, I just want to add our experience. He has been our pediatrician since our oldest son (now 9) was born. We have 4 children. So we've had lots and lots and lots of visits over the years! We all love Dr. Thomas. The children look forward to their visits because he is fun and great with the kids. I also have great confidence in him as a doctor. We've had our share of sicknesses over the years. He is not one to offer medicine when its not necessary, just to make the parent feel better, but when needed he will act agressively. When my infant was having difficulties we were immediately sent to a specialist and to Children's for testing. I also like the fact that he is in a practice by himself as we are always sure to see him - someone who knows the children, their histories, and someone they are comfortable with. He's also very available. Appointments are not diffucult to get. He always seems relaxed and as if he has plenty of time for us - not rushing through to fit in a quota. I have recommended him to friends who now take their children to him also.

Great Doctor. My experience with Dr Thomas has been great. He and his staff are very professional. I initially chose him because he was close to my OB/GYN. My son is my first child and I was really trepidatious about making the wrong choice. Dr. Thomas came to see my baby every single day that we were in the hospital post delivery. He would come in very delightfully and say, "I just came to check on my baby." My son is now 19 months and we have received excellent care and advice from both Dr, Thomas and his staff. They answer all of my questions no matter how detailed and when I have a concern or emergency they work him onto the schedule. Great pediatrician, especially for new moms.

Do not select this doctor. Dr Thomas provided one of the worst health care experiences to my children this far.

After prescribing antibiotics 8 times to my 1 year old in less than 5 months he repeatedly denied giving us a referral to see a specialist. After consulting 2 other pediatricians my fears were confirmed; my daughter should have seen an specialist long before all those rounds of antibiotics. I changed doctors and my daughter has been healthy since then. She has seen a specialist and taken care of her issue.

Do not take your child to this man, I got the impression that he does not care about his patients and money is a first (insurance company?s will give doctors a bonus in the end of the year if they do not give a lot of referrals)
