Dishonest and Dangerous! Called this company to fix a simple problem. They scared my tenant with a fabricated story and then got belligerent and threatened me when I called the owner (Jim) to complain! To make this worse I had to have a second company come out to actually fix the problem and it turns out NONE of the things Terrell claimed were bad actually needed replacing. Total charges for the second company were less than a third what I paid to Terrell.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with an HVAC company.

Prompt and excellent service. Just two days before my mother came to visit, our AC went out. She prefers a house at 68 degrees and since we were having a warm spell (85 and rising) we knew we had to get it fixed ASAP. I googled Atlanta AC repair and called 11 different places... the soonest anyone could come out was 4 days from when I was calling. Terrell Heating & Air was the 12th place that I called and the only place who could actually come out that day. I was amused by that, considering that several of the other places have "same-day guarantees" on their website. The place that said they were rated #1 in Atlanta for customer service didn't return my call for 2 days.

Anyway, the owner himself answered the phone and said he could have someone to our place in just a couple of hours. Jimmy, the owner, actually came along for the service call and couldn't have been nicer. They fixed the problem very quickly (we needed a new part, some freon and to have the coils cleaned). Jimmy also suggested that we consider some regular maintenance and the price he quotes was definitely on the lower end of the prices I'd seen online. When we mentioned that we needed our ducts cleaned, not only did he give us a referral, he also called the guy to let him know we'd be calling.

They did great work, were very respectful and certainly the price was very fair and competitive. I have no complaints and highly recommend this company.

Completely dishonest and shoddy work. Stay away from this guy at all costs. If you don't, you will be sorry.....and out big bucks. I know!

Horrible decision. I am so disappointed that we chose this company. He installed a unit he said was a year old, but it was actually 8 years old (by serial number) and an improper size. We now have toxic mold throughout our house and are paying thousands because of his shoddy business practices.

He was abusive and misled us. Never again.

Disrespectful and wealsey owner. I dealt with the owner of the business. He delivered prompt installation of a new system, but became accusatory when the second half of the payment didn't arrive at his office within a couple of days of the install. It turns out that the mailing address at the top of his own invoice was incorrect, and the payment letter was returned to me. When I informed him of this, he implied that I should have known the correct address. In the meantime, he threatened to repossess the installed equipment. So, he appears to me to be seeking conflict and is a miserable person.

Dishonest & Unreliable A/C Co.. We called this company when our a/c unit went out in two properties. Not only did they NOT fix them, but they refused to return our calls or money. Days went by as we tried to call them but to no avail. My husband went to their place of business and the owner, Mr. Jimmy Terrell, became profane, verbally abusive and extremely rude!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU LIKE WASTING YOUR MONEY!!!!!
