Fastest Movers Ever! – I have moved many, many times and these were hands down the fastest movers I have ever used! They came on time and were extremely hard working. I have never seen movers move that quickly and yet they took very good care of all of my items, including carefully wrapping my furniture. They were also very polite and patient even when I changed my mind about where I wanted some of the furniture in my new place. I would highly recommend them!
Great,Courteous service – I phoned this company based on the reviews. They were on time, courteous and very willing to get the job done quickly. I would use their services again and recommend them to my friends and family.
EXCELLENT SERVICE, ON TIME, COURTEOUS & PROFESSIONAL – Chandler moving co. was recommended by a friend who had used them before. When we needed to make a last-minute change to the start time we were accomodated without a word of complaint. Our daughter was moving into her own apartment and didn't have much stuff but did have a few large items which were easily moved out of our place but had to go up a *very* narrow & winding staircase (in freezing weather!) on the other end - no complaints from the guys, just careful and professional service. The price was exactly as agreed upon. I got a call from the owner during and after the move to make sure I was happy, and I was. We will definitely use them again.
Great Experience – Chandler Moving provide excellent service regarding my move 11/25/08. I have moved three times in the last five years so I'm familiar with the experience and professional movers (Atlas, United, etc.).
My selection of Chandler was based on the City Search reviews and their service was everything stated. The movers were on time, polite, careful with my furniture (there was no damage) and actually finished under the estimated time. This included protecting my furniture with pads and plastic wrap. I had an entertainment center that was 6' X 6' (one of those boxed items that I assembled myself) and, although they advised me ahead of time that it might not survive the move, they moved it without any problem.
Last but not least, the cost of the move was less than I had expected - perhaps because I moved several things myself such as hanging clothing, kitchen items, etc.
I would definitely use Chandler again and highly recommend them.
A great moving experience – I hired Chandler when I recently moved from a 1 BR apartment to a 2 BR house. They did a great job - very thorough and they took special care of my furniture. The owner called me during the move to make sure things were going smoothly, and followed up with me after the move to see if I had any questions or concerns. Overall it was great customer service. I have moved about eight times in the last 10 years, and this was without-a-doubt the smoothest move I have experienced. I highly recommend Chandler.
Good movers – My realtor recommended them, so I called them first. They went through each room of my two bedroom with sunroom apartment and made sure we didn't leave out any furniture from the quote, and they asked about the stairways, etc. She told me the move would cost about $560 based on men and hours. I called two more movers both of whom were short and rude on the phone. One of other movers just kept telling me the hourly rate and that it would take as long as it would take, without asking me about the funiture. So I made the appointment with Chandler. The movers showed up exactly on time and got right to work. The move wound up costing $500 exactly as we had moved our own clothes and wedding gifts as suggested by Chandler. The movers were polite and very helpful, and there was no damage, so it was a pleasant experience.
Very Professional, Reasonable Cost – I hired Chandler Moving to move the furniture out of my main floor to get the floors re-finished. They were great on the phone, and told me they could fit the furniture in the basement o save me on storage and transportation costs. They showed up on time, wrapped the furniture, and quickly carried the good things downstairs to the basement. They had to lower my large wall units and later lift it back up over a retaining wall, and seemed very cheerful about it. They left blankets on my nicest pieces of furniture for the storage period. When they came back to put the furniture back in place, they put pads on the furniture legs to keep from scratching my beautiful new floors (I will also recommend The Floor Connection very highly). No scratches, great attitude, and their final price was lower than the quotes I got from other companies.
People were nice... movers didn't do that great of a job – We moved from a one bedroom loft to a two bedroom townhome in midtown. Pros: the people were really nice at the moving company and movers arrived on time. Price wasn't bad. Cons: The movers argued a lot amongst themselves as they moved stuff. We had a large desk which they said would scratch up the walls a little in order to get it to the second floor. We said that was fine since we hadn't painted yet. The scraches ended up being large chunks taken out of the corners of walls (I think they just ran the desk into one of the walls by mistake... One particular wall was in the entry way where they were just carrying in the desk). The desk is now broken - i think it happened when they bumped it into the wall. Anyways, they also tried to take our queen bed frame up to the second level, but after trying, said that the bed would have to be disassembled in order to move it. The next morning my boyfriend moved it by himself in about 2 minutes with no trouble and no scratches on the walls (and he's not a large guy). I dont think they were tilting furniture correctly when they were moving it in. So, it was fine moving out of our condo buildling (no tight turns or stairs), but they didn't do such a good job bringing furniture into our townhome.
A great move! – Just finished my move with Chandler and couldn't be more pleased. We moved from a three story townhouse into a two story home (both having difficult staircases). The crew was ontime, courteous, and incredibly professional. Not only did they have to move a grand piano using a side yard on a grassy slope, they went well beyond the proverbial mile manouvering a very large wine cellar into an exceedingly tight space on the second floor of our new home. In a move that filled two trucks, not one wall was scuffed and not one piece of furniture was scratched or damaged in anyway. Many thanks to the five guys who made up the crew, you guys are the best.
Nice moving company – I always use Chandler Moving for my moves. I move every couple of years. I don't have much furniture, but it's all pretty nice modern stuff. They've actually gotten better each time I've moved with them (they wrap things up before they move them now where they used to just pad them in the truck). I first got them from my company's bulletin board where they had all good reviews. My parents and my daughter have also moved with Chandler and there has never been anything damaged. It is a pretty small company (just two or three people in the office and maybe three trucks) and the owner is very involved. He will either come out on the move or call to make sure the move is going well. I always call a month in advance to make sure I get on their schedule and can pick my day.
